Hikiko 6FT Dog Leash, 1-Inch Nylon with Reflective Thread and Dual Handles

For dog handlers who want a closer grip in busy spots as well as room for a regular walk, the Hikiko 6FT leash combines two padded handles with a reflective design. Its six-foot length and one-inch width give you a straightforward everyday leash format, while the extra traffic handle provides another grip point when you need to bring your dog closer.

The leash is hot pink and made with nylon and neoprene. It is described as suitable for medium and large dogs, though the listed breed-size details also include small dogs. Match the leash to your dog’s size and your preferred handling style rather than relying on the color or length alone.

The standard handle is intended for a relaxed walking grip, the second, traffic handle offers a closer hold for sidewalks or crowded areas. That makes this a different approach from a basic single-handle leash: it gives you another place to hold without requiring a separate traffic lead. The reflective threads are intended to improve visibility at night, but the product details do not specify a visibility distance or make a guarantee about being seen.

Practical tips

Use the standard handle when you want the leash’s full six-foot length for a walk, and take the traffic handle when a tighter grip would be useful. For example, approaching a busy sidewalk is a practical moment to switch to the closer handle, the extra grip point is there for control, not a substitute for attentive handling.

The clasp is described as a 360-degree rotating zinc-alloy snap, designed to help reduce twisting, and a D-ring near the handle can hold a waste-bag dispenser or another accessory. The leash itself is one inch wide, so consider whether that width and the two-handle setup suit your dog and the way you hold a leash. It suits you if you want both a standard walking grip and a closer-control option in one leash. Not the best choice if your priority is a simpler single-handle setup, the second handle is a defining part of this design.

Buyers describe the leash as comfortable and well made, and some particularly appreciate the extra handle and padded grips. These are customer impressions, not a measure of fit for every dog or handler.

What you get

The listed quantity is one leash. The product details do not list a waste-bag dispenser or other accessory as included, the D-ring is provided for attaching one. If you are comparing leash styles, this setup favors adjustable hand placement over the minimal design of a single-handle lead.

Practical questions

Can the leash be used for running or training? The product is described for walking, running, and training. The second handle can provide a closer grip when that suits the situation.

Does it have reflective details? Yes. The leash is described as using high-reflective threads for visibility at night, though no visibility range is provided.

Can you attach a waste-bag holder? A metal D-ring near the handle is intended for a waste-bag dispenser or another accessory. The leash listing does not say that a dispenser is included.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Hikiko if you want a six-foot leash with padded grips, reflective thread, and a second handle for closer control in busier settings. Its appeal is the option to move between a regular walking hold and a traffic hold without changing leashes. If you do not need that second grip point, a simpler single-handle style may better match your preferences.
