The different resting spots include two upper perches, a wide platform, an extra-large platform, a bottom bed, a spacious condo, a square basket, and a round hammock. That variety lets cats choose between an elevated lookout and a more enclosed place to settle. The product is designed for indoor use and lists climbing, jumping, and scratching among its intended activities. Hand-wash care applies to the tree.

Compatibility

The tower is intended for cats, with adult cats, kittens, and all breed sizes listed as suitable. Its collection of perches and resting areas makes it a multi-cat-style setup, while the stated supported weight is up to 33 lbs. Since that capacity applies to the tree, consider the size of each cat and the way they use the different platforms when choosing a spot for it.

Best use cases

This tall format suits a home where cats benefit from having vertical space for climbing as well as several places to pause or nap. For example, a cat can move from a lower bed to an upper perch, while another settles in the condo or hammock. Compared with a compact, single-perch cat tree, this design prioritizes multiple resting options and a broader range of activity areas. Would a tower with both scratching posts and varied resting spots better suit your cats’ daily routine?

Buyer feedback highlights the height and assembly instructions, while opinions on size and sturdiness are mixed. Some customers describe the tower as sturdy, others report wobbling or concerns about durability. Following the assembly instructions and using the included anti-tip device as directed are important parts of setting it up.

What to clarify

What is the maximum supported weight? The manufacturer lists a maximum capacity of 33 lbs. Consider this figure alongside the size of your cat and the specific platform they will use.

How should the tower be positioned? The product guidance recommends placing it against a wall or in a corner and securing it with the included anti-tip device.

Final verdict

The MPJ074W is designed for indoor cat households that want one tall structure for climbing, scratching, and choosing among several resting places. Its five padded platforms, varied lounging areas, and sisal-wrapped posts make it especially suited to homes looking to give cats more than a single perch or bed.
