Hawkwind We Are Looking In On You Too Double Vinyl Live Album
Product description
Double black-vinyl LP pressing, We Are Looking In On You Too captures Hawkwind live, drawing highlights from the band’s recent dates across the UK. The two-record format brings several performances together in a physical release, with selections spanning the group’s catalog.
It also serves as a companion to We Are Looking In On You, giving listeners another live collection to add to a Hawkwind vinyl shelf.
Best use cases
This release is suited to Hawkwind fans who want live versions of familiar material in a vinyl format. It gathers performances from the band’s UK dates, making it a natural choice for listening sessions centered on the group’s catalog rather than a studio-only album. The double LP presentation also gives the collection a defined place in a physical music library.
If you’re choosing between a live collection and a studio release, this album’s appeal is its concert setting and selection of highlights. It includes songs such as “Hurry On Sundown,” “The Watcher,” “Star Explorer,” and “Born To Go,” so listeners can focus on live renditions of recognizable Hawkwind material. It can also sit alongside We Are Looking In On You as its companion release.
What you’ll notice day to day
The double black-vinyl format makes the album a tangible addition to a record collection, while the live performances give the set its central identity. Rather than presenting itself as a new studio recording, it brings together selected cuts from recent UK shows. That makes it a good fit for fans who enjoy hearing a band’s catalog represented in a live setting.
For a listening session, the named tracks offer an easy starting point: put on “Hurry On Sundown” or “The Watcher” if you’re looking for familiar titles, or explore “Star Explorer” and “Born To Go” as part of the broader collection. The release also features Dave Brock, Richard Chadwick, Magnus Martin, Doug MacKinnon, and Tim “Thighpaulsandra” Lewis.
