Hamourd Interactive Robot Toy with Gesture Control, Walkie-Talkie and LED Eyes

Some robot toys focus on a single kind of play, this one combines movement, lights, music, and interactive controls in one floor-play companion.

Use the remote to send it forward, backward, left, or right on its tank-style tracks, or switch to gesture sensing to guide its movement with your hand.

Want to add more than driving to playtime? The robot can dance, sing, make sounds, and display different LED eye patterns, while its flexible head and arms give it an expressive look.

Usage tips

For remote-controlled play, use the included 2.4 GHz controller to steer the robot across the floor and activate its dance and music features. The tracked base is designed to move in multiple directions, making it easy to build simple follow-the-leader games or create a small course around open floor space.

To try gesture sensing, press the button on the robot to enter that mode, then move your hand in front of it. Its walkie-talkie function offers another way to interact: double-click the robot’s button, then double-click the intercom button on the remote. The robot’s button can be held down, or you can speak through the controller, to use the intercom. A long press of the LED eye button cycles the eye-light modes automatically.

Why it’s worth it

Rather than being limited to display or pretend play, this robot brings together hands-on movement and several ways to trigger a response. Children can steer it, experiment with gesture commands, switch songs with the remote, and watch its eyes change patterns. Those different activities create options for both guided play and independent exploration, with motor skills, coordination, and problem-solving listed among its educational objectives.

Its characterful design is part of the appeal: a compact robot body, flexible head and arms, bright LED eyes, and a tracked lower section. Buyers describe the toy as fun and cute, and some highlight its appeal as a gift. That feedback reflects customer impressions rather than a promise of how every child will respond.

What to know

The robot is made of plastic and measures 4 x 4 x 6 inches. It is intended for floor play and has one-player operation. The package includes the robot, remote control, Type-C charging cable, screwdriver, user manual, and batteries for the controller. The charging cable supports charging the robot, while the included controller batteries let you set up its remote-control play.

If you’re choosing between a toy that mainly makes sounds and one that invites children to control movement, this model combines both approaches with gesture sensing, music, and dance moves. Its remote and gesture modes also give children more than one way to interact during a play session.
