Gardner Pet GP01B Automatic Pet Water Dispenser, 1.6-Gallon, Stainless Steel Bowls

Key specifications

For pet households looking for an automatic water supply without an electrical connection, the Gardner Pet GP01B uses gravity to refill its drinking area as pets drink. Its 1.6-gallon capacity is suited to homes that want more water on hand than a standard bowl provides.

The stainless steel bowls offer a dedicated drinking surface, while the dispenser’s detachable design makes the parts easier to take apart for cleaning. A brush is included to help clean the unit.

Choose this gravity-fed style when you want a simple, quiet setup rather than a powered dispenser with a pump.

Everyday compatibility

The dispenser is intended for dogs, puppies, and big cats, and is recommended for indoor use and homes with multiple pets. Its large capacity can be useful when more than one animal shares a water station, or when a busy routine makes frequent bowl refills inconvenient. The product is listed for medium and large dog breeds, as well as small, medium, and large-sized dogs in its name.

The gravity mechanism replenishes the bowl without electricity, so the water station can be placed where pets normally drink without needing a nearby outlet. Its trapezoidal reservoir and wide base are designed to help keep the dispenser stable, nonslip pads on the bottom add grip on the floor. For households comparing an automatic gravity refill with a basic bowl, this design offers a larger reservoir and ongoing replenishment. Compared with a powered pump setup, it operates without electricity.

Best use cases

This dispenser is a practical choice for a shared indoor water station. For example, a home with a dog and cats can set it in a familiar feeding area so each pet has access to the same replenishing supply. The 1.6-gallon capacity helps reduce the need to top up a small bowl as often, while the stainless steel bowls provide a defined drinking surface.

Cleaning is part of regular use: the detachable construction lets the system come apart without tools, and the included brush can help reach surfaces during washing. That straightforward layout suits pet owners who want an automatic dispenser without a more complex powered arrangement.

Buyer feedback frequently highlights the dispenser’s spacious size and reliable function. Opinions are more divided on water capacity and retention, as well as durability, so the most useful point of comparison is whether a gravity-fed, high-capacity station matches your pets’ normal drinking setup and your preferred cleaning routine.

Final verdict

The Gardner Pet GP01B brings together a 1.6-gallon reservoir, gravity-fed replenishment, stainless steel bowls, and a detachable design in one indoor water station. It’s a useful choice for pet owners who want a larger shared supply without relying on electricity, especially in a multi-pet home or a busy household where a small bowl needs frequent attention.
