Pawtners PTPT090AS11 4L Stainless Steel Dog Water Bowl with Floating Disk

For dogs that splash water while drinking or tend to gulp, a bowl that controls access to the water can make daily hydration easier to manage. The Pawtners PTPT090AS11 uses a floating disk to regulate the water at the surface.

Its 4L capacity gives medium and large dogs, or households with multiple pets, a substantial bowl for everyday use. The silver bowl is made from 304 stainless steel and has a non-slip base.

The floating disk rises with the water level and is designed to limit splashing while encouraging slower drinking. Its low-profile setup suits a feeding area where keeping the floor tidier matters.

What stands out

The one-piece floating disk adjusts as your dog drinks, exposing water through its center rather than leaving a wide, open surface. That design helps moderate fast drinking and can reduce splashes from enthusiastic drinkers. The non-slip base helps keep the bowl in place as a dog drinks, while the stainless steel construction provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface for daily water service.

Customers often highlight ease of cleaning, capacity, and the bowl’s mess-reducing purpose. Feedback on spill control and stability is mixed, so experiences with those features vary. The design is aimed at dogs that make a mess around an open bowl, with the floating disk and base working together to address splashing and movement.

Cleaning & care

The silver stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe. The floating disk is designed to clean without taking apart multiple small components, making routine rinsing and washing more straightforward. For setup, hold the disk vertically, angle it across the bowl, and place it inside before adding water. As the water level changes, the disk rises automatically. This placement method makes it easier to get the bowl ready for your dog’s usual feeding area or when setting it up for a trip.

Should you buy it?

Choose this bowl if you want a larger-capacity water station with more control over the exposed water surface than a basic open bowl provides. The floating disk is the key difference: it is designed to slow drinking and help contain splashes, while the non-slip base supports a steadier position during use. The 304 stainless steel bowl and dishwasher-safe silver finish also suit owners who want a practical option for regular cleaning.

For a medium or large dog, a dog that drinks quickly, or a home with multiple pets sharing a water station, the 4L capacity gives the bowl a useful everyday role. It also fits owners looking to manage mess around a dog’s drinking area without switching to a more complicated multi-part design.
