Focusound 26-Pack Pyramid Acoustic Foam Panels, 12 x 12 x 2 in., Gray

For a recording space, game room, or work area where echo and reverberation distract from listening or concentration, Focusound pyramid acoustic foam panels offer a targeted wall treatment. Their three-dimensional surface is designed to increase contact with sound waves, helping absorb sound and reduce room reflections.

The 26-panel set includes double-sided adhesive dots for wall installation, and the lightweight foam can be cut to fit your layout. That makes it easier to treat a specific wall or adjust panel placement to your space.

The raised pyramid pattern is intended to absorb sound and reduce echo and reverberation in a room. This makes the panels useful when reflections from walls affect a recording setup, gaming area, or quiet workspace. They are designed for acoustic treatment within a room, rather than as a claim of complete sound isolation between spaces.

The foam is lightweight and can be cut to size, so you can arrange panels across a chosen wall area or shape them to suit your layout. The adhesive dots support installation without additional tools. For a more focused treatment, this wall-mounted approach lets you work with the room’s surfaces rather than relying only on movable furnishings.

Best use cases

Use the panels in a home recording space to help manage room echo while capturing music or other audio. In a game room, they can add acoustic treatment to a wall around the listening area. They can also suit a workspace where reducing reverberation is part of creating a quieter-feeling environment. A practical setup is to place panels on a selected wall near the area where sound reflections are a concern, using the adhesive dots to position them and trimming panels where the layout calls for a different fit.

The panels are vacuum-packed and usually return to their original shape within 24 to 48 hours after opening. If you want to help them recover faster, the product directions describe soaking them briefly, squeezing out excess water, and air-drying them before installation.

What you get

The set provides 26 gray pyramid foam panels, each measuring 12 x 12 x 2 inches, plus 150 double-sided adhesive dots. The quantity gives you multiple panels to arrange as a group or distribute across a chosen treatment area. Since the panels can be cut, you can adapt the layout to the wall rather than treating every panel as a fixed-size piece. Plan the placement around the area you want to address, then use the adhesive dots to attach the panels.

The foam is described as odorless and non-toxic, with flame-retardant properties. These material details may be useful when choosing acoustic treatment for a home studio or shared indoor space.

When it makes sense

Focusound’s 26-pack is a practical fit when you want a dedicated wall treatment for a studio, game room, or work area and value a shaped surface, cut-to-size flexibility, and adhesive-based installation. It brings the panels and mounting dots together in one set, making it easier to plan a targeted acoustic treatment without turning the project into a full-room renovation. Worth considering if reducing wall reflections is the goal and you want panels you can arrange around your particular space.
