Fikwot FS810-1TB 1TB 2.5-Inch SATA SSD, 3D TLC NAND, Up to 560MB/s

Choosing between keeping a traditional mechanical drive and moving to solid-state storage comes down to how you want your computer to handle everyday access. The Fikwot FS810-1TB gives desktops and laptops a 1TB internal SSD option in a familiar 2.5-inch format.

Its SATA III interface supports transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s, with read speeds up to 560MB/s. That makes it suited to an upgrade focused on quicker access to the operating system, applications, and stored files.

The drive uses 3D NAND TLC flash and is intended for multimedia, personal computing, and gaming storage. Its black enclosure keeps the design straightforward for an internal installation.

Requirements

The FS810 is designed for a computer with an internal 2.5-inch SATA drive connection. Its SATA interface is backward compatible with SATA Rev. 2.0, so it can suit systems using that interface as well as SATA III systems. The listed platforms include desktops, laptops, Mac, and PC. Supported operating systems include Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, macOS 10.4 or later, and Linux 2.6.33 or later. Confirm that the computer’s drive bay and SATA connection match the drive’s 2.5-inch internal format before installation.

For an older computer still using a mechanical hard drive, this SSD offers a direct storage-upgrade approach rather than replacing the whole system. Its 1TB capacity can accommodate applications, personal files, and multimedia in one internal drive. A SATA SSD can also be used as a boot drive, buyers mention using this model that way, alongside comments praising its speed and ease of installation. Feedback on reliability and compatibility is mixed, so individual experiences vary.

Usage tips

Decide whether the FS810 will hold the operating system and frequently used applications, serve as additional file storage, or do both. If replacing a system drive, plan the operating-system installation or data transfer before removing the existing drive. For a secondary drive, organize folders by purpose—such as games, media, and personal documents—to make the 1TB capacity easier to manage. During installation, use the computer’s internal 2.5-inch SATA connection and follow the computer manufacturer’s instructions for accessing its drive bay.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want a 1TB internal SSD in a standard 2.5-inch SATA format, with 3D TLC NAND and read speeds up to 560MB/s. It suits a desktop or laptop upgrade where the goal is to move from a mechanical drive to solid-state storage, or to add a dedicated drive for applications and files. The combination of capacity, widely used SATA connectivity, and a defined speed rating makes the FS810 a practical choice for everyday computing and multimedia storage.
