Feandrea UPDC022BH01 Collapsible Dog Crate, 48-Inch, 4 Mesh Doors

Some dogs need a resting spot that stays set up at home. Others benefit from a crate that can fold down between trips or when floor space is needed elsewhere.

The Feandrea UPDC022BH01 is a 48-inch soft-sided dog crate with a steel frame, Oxford fabric, and a Sherpa fleece pad. Four mesh doors, carrying handles, and built-in storage make it suited to home use and travel.

It measures 48 x 29 x 31 inches and folds to 48 x 29 x 3 inches. The listed weight is 13.9 pounds, so it can be carried and stored when not in use.

Worth noting

A steel frame gives this soft-sided crate its structure, while 600D Oxford fabric forms the outer shell. The four mesh doors support ventilation and give access from multiple sides, which can be useful when positioning the crate in a room or preparing a dog for a trip. Self-locking zippers are designed to help keep a pet from opening the crate from inside, and reflective strips add visibility in low-light settings.

Assembly takes about 30 seconds and requires no tools. When it is time to put the crate away, it folds flat for storage in a car or at home. Two side handles make carrying it more practical, while the pocket and water bottle holder keep everyday pet supplies close at hand.

Care & maintenance

The water-resistant Oxford fabric can be wiped clean after everyday spills or marks. The Sherpa fleece pad is removable for cleaning, its inner padding is not washable. Removing the pad also makes it easier to air out the crate between uses.

Before your dog enters, remove its collar and leash to help prevent them from catching on the crate. Introducing the crate through training before travel can also help your pet become familiar with the space.

Tips for day-to-day use

For sizing, measure your dog standing upright from nose to the base of the tail, then from the top of the head to the floor. Add 4 inches to each measurement when choosing a crate size. This model measures 48 x 29 x 31 inches and is listed for dogs up to 110 pounds, so use your dog’s measurements alongside the weight guidance.

At home, the fleece pad gives your dog a defined resting area. For a road trip, the foldable design and carry handles make it easier to transport and store the crate, while the pocket and bottle holder keep water and snacks nearby. The crate can also be a useful alternative to a permanent setup when a dog’s space needs to be packed away after use.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the straightforward assembly, roomy interior, and portability. Some buyers also report fabric tearing or zippers pulling apart, so checking the fabric and closures during routine use is a sensible part of care.
