Its compact design, included lanyard, and built-in games make it ready for both creative play and everyday adventures.

Compared with a photo-only camera, the X5 adds video, creative effects, music, and games in one device, giving young users several ways to engage with it. Its shock-proof silicone case and detachable lanyard also suit hands-on use at home or while traveling.
Everyday compatibility
The included 32GB SD card provides space for photos and recordings, while the USB-C cable supports charging and connecting the camera to a computer to transfer files. That makes it practical to save a child’s pictures for viewing, sharing, or printing. For a road trip or a walk outside, kids can take the camera along and capture favorite sights themselves, the timer can also help with self-portraits and group pictures.
Buyers describe the camera as enjoyable and approachable for young children, and some appreciate its games, selfie mode, and durability. Feedback on picture quality and size is mixed, so those impressions vary between families. Its range of playful features gives children more to explore than taking a basic snapshot alone.
Who it’s for
The X5 is designed for kids ages 3–8 who are ready to take their own pictures and videos. It can make family outings, nature walks, and trips more engaging by giving children a way to notice and capture what interests them. Frames, effects, and filters invite creative experimentation, while the MP3 player and educational games add other activities between photo sessions. The lanyard helps keep the camera close during travel, and the included instructions support getting started with its features.
Is it worth it?
For families choosing a first camera for a young child, the X5 brings together photography, 1080p video, selfie mode, image effects, and 32GB of storage. The included SD card and computer-transfer support make it easier to keep the pictures kids create, while its games and music offer added ways to play. It’s a useful fit for children who want to document outings and make the photos their own.
