BATURU T-388 Rechargeable Kids Walkie Talkies, 3-Pack, 22 Channels, USB-C

Benefits

For kids who want to stay in touch during backyard games, park outings, or family trips, the BATURU T-388 set gives three children their own walkie-talkie to use for group play. The three radios come in green, blue, and pink, and rechargeable 2000mAh batteries with USB-C charging make them convenient to bring along for indoor and outdoor adventures.

With 22 channels and VOX hands-free communication, children can coordinate a game or keep talking while they play. Would hands-free calling make team play easier? VOX offers that option, while push-to-talk controls provide a straightforward way to speak. The stated range is up to 3 miles in ideal open areas, making the set useful for exploring together in suitable open spaces.

The display is backlit, and each radio also has a flashlight for low-light convenience. A locating call tone can help children find a misplaced radio nearby, while belt clips keep the devices within reach. Buyers often describe the radios as easy for children to use and enjoy giving them as gifts, making the three-pack a natural choice for siblings or friends who want to play together.

What matters most

The three-radio format is the key distinction from buying a single walkie-talkie: it gives a small group a shared way to communicate during hide-and-seek, pretend missions, or a family outing. All three can use the set’s 22 channels for group communication. The rechargeable design and USB-C charging suit families who want radios they can recharge between play sessions, rather than making disposable-battery changes the central part of everyday use.

The advertised 3-mile range applies to ideal open areas. For a practical scenario, children can split into teams across a park and use the radios to call each other during a game, buildings and surroundings can affect how far a signal reaches. The radios are described for children ages 3–12, and their simple push-to-talk operation makes them easy to include in screen-free play.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose a channel for the group before starting a game, then show children how to use push-to-talk. VOX is available for hands-free communication when that suits the activity. To prevent accidental setting changes, hold Menu for 3 seconds to activate the key lock. The low-battery alert indicates when charging is needed, and the 1.5-hour auto-off feature powers a radio down after that period of inactivity. Recharge the radios through USB-C to get them ready for the next outing.

Practical questions

How many children can use the set? It includes three walkie-talkies, so three children can each carry a radio and communicate as a group using one of the 22 channels.

How far can the radios communicate? The stated maximum is up to 3 miles in ideal open areas. The actual usable range depends on the surroundings, so that figure is best understood as an open-area limit rather than a guarantee for every location.

Can children talk without holding the button? Yes. VOX provides hands-free, voice-operated transmission. Push-to-talk controls are also available for conventional radio use.

Final verdict

The BATURU T-388 is a practical choice for families looking for three coordinated radios for children’s games, outings, and imaginative play. Its combination of 22 channels, VOX, rechargeable USB-C power, and kid-friendly extras supports shared adventures without making a phone the center of the activity.
