Gootus Customizable LED Halloween Mask with App and Gesture Control

Made from plastic, this one-size LED mask is designed for Halloween costumes and other events. It pairs app-based patterns with gesture sensing, so you can change the display without relying only on a phone. Want a costume piece that does more than a fixed printed face? This one also supports custom images and scrolling text.

Technical details

The mask is rechargeable and uses a Type-C charging cable. Its app offers 70 still images and 45 animations, with options to upload photos and customize text. Gesture sensing provides another way to switch the displayed face. The app can also show an animated equalizer responding to music or voice when microphone mode is selected.

• Size: One Size
• Material: Plastic
• Charging: Rechargeable, Type-C cable
• App content: 70 still images and 45 animations
• Intended age range: Teenagers and adults

The combination of presets and customization gives it more flexibility than a basic mask with a single design. For a costume party, the wearer could choose a preset for the event, then use gesture control to switch images without opening the app each time. The product description also says the strap is adjustable and includes silicone padding around the eyes.

Getting the most from it

The app is central to the customizable features: it lets you select patterns, upload photos, and create scrolling text. If you prefer not to make every change on a phone, gesture sensing offers a simpler way to move between selected faces. Music and voice-reactive display options add another mode for parties or dancing, though they depend on using the app’s music or microphone settings.

Buyer feedback is positive about the appearance, range of face options, and entertainment value. Comments on setup and operation are mixed, however, and some buyers report that the mask stopped working. Visibility is also a recurring concern in buyer feedback, so plan for a setting where you can pause or remove the mask if you cannot see clearly. That matters more than the visual effect when moving through a crowded space.

What you get

The package includes one LED mask, a Type-C charging cable, and a manual. The listed product information describes it as rechargeable, but runtime details differ across the supplied descriptions, so they are not included here as a dependable expectation. If you need a predictable all-evening wear time, that uncertainty is worth factoring into your choice.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want a reusable costume accessory with app-selected designs, custom content, and hands-free switching. It offers more variety than a standard non-illuminated mask, while keeping the focus on a single wearable piece rather than a full costume setup. It’s not for you if clear, unrestricted vision is essential throughout the event, some buyers say they have trouble seeing while wearing it. Reports on battery performance and ease of use are mixed as well, so it may suit a fun, occasional costume appearance better than a situation where dependable operation is critical.
