Journaltastic JOZDSMSKGLB13 2027 Wall Calendar, 12" x 24" Open, Large Grid

Some planners are built for detailed daily scheduling, this wall calendar is designed to keep a month visible at a glance. It covers January through December 2027 and opens to 12" x 24". Its daily blocks are unruled, so notes and appointments can be added without working around printed lines. It is a monthly wall format, not a portable or daily-page planner.

Quick overview

The Journaltastic calendar has a 12" x 12" folded size and a 12" x 24" open layout, with one monthly calendar page for each month of 2027. Large, unruled vertical blocks measure 1.2" x 1.7", offering room to write appointments or reminders. Standard U.S. and European holidays are listed, and the pages include a hanging hole. Color artwork varies by month, giving the calendar a visual element as well as a planning function.

The paper is described as thick, bright white, and acid-free. That makes it a practical match for handwritten notes, although the listing does not specify which pens or markers work best. Its monthly layout suits a shared household schedule, an office wall, or a cubicle where people need to see upcoming dates without opening an app or notebook. Buyers often highlight the roomy grid, readable numbers, varied colors, and paper thickness, some also appreciate the artwork above the monthly grids. These are customer impressions, rather than a guarantee that every writing tool will avoid bleed-through.

Everyday use

This calendar is most useful when the goal is to keep appointments and dates in a visible, shared place. For example, a household could use the open monthly grid to note school events, work shifts, and birthdays, while an office could reserve blocks for deadlines or meetings. The calendar’s hanging format keeps the month on display, and the unruled boxes allow different kinds of notes to fit without a fixed template.

The tradeoff is inherent in the format: each month is shown as a grid, rather than as a page for detailed daily plans. A buyer who needs extensive notes or a schedule broken into specific times may prefer a planner with more writing structure. Depending on how you use it, the unruled blocks may be a benefit for flexible reminders or a drawback if you prefer neatly divided sections.

Practical tips

Before choosing a spot, account for the 12" x 24" open size and make sure the full calendar can hang there without being obscured. The listed 12" x 12" folded size helps explain how it stores between uses, but the calendar is intended to be displayed open for viewing. Its large grid may be especially useful where several people need to check the same dates from a short distance.

Keep entries concise if you plan to use the calendar for multiple people or types of events, the blocks provide space for notes, but the product is still a single-month grid rather than a detailed scheduling system. The listing describes thick paper and ink-resistant properties, but does not name compatible pens, so avoid assuming every marker will behave the same way.

Buying verdict

A solid pick if you want one visible 2027 calendar with large monthly blocks, colorful artwork, and room for handwritten appointments. It offers a simpler approach than a dedicated planner: glance at the wall to see the month, then write the important dates directly into the grid. Better avoided if you need dated pages beyond December 2027, hourly scheduling, or a portable format, none of those features is specified for this wall calendar. The choice comes down to whether a clear, shared monthly overview is enough for your routine.
