IRIS USA 587017 2-Pack 3-Drawer Plastic Desktop Organizers, Black

Some desks need a place to keep a few everyday items close, others need small supplies separated and easy to spot. The IRIS USA 587017 set includes two medium plastic organizers, each with three drawers. Their stackable design is suited to desks and shelves where floor space is limited. Clear drawers make it easier to see what is stored inside.

Key specifications

• Name: IRIS USA 587017 desktop drawer organizer
• Format: 2-pack, each organizer has three drawers
• Material: Plastic
• Color: Black
• Dimensions: 12.88"D x 10.5"W x 9.5"H
• Features: Stackable design, clear drawers, built-in drawer stops, recessed top

The two-unit format gives you the option to place organizers in separate spots or stack them, depending on the layout. A recessed top adds a surface for frequently used items, while the drawer stops help keep drawers from pulling all the way out accidentally. The drawers can also be removed when needed. The manufacturer describes the materials as GreenCircle Certified recyclable.

How to use it

Use the drawers to sort smaller desk and dorm essentials such as school supplies, chargers, makeup, toiletries, or snacks. Separating items by type can make a compact work area easier to manage than leaving everything together in an open tray. For example, one organizer could sit on a dorm desk for stationery and charging accessories, while the second holds personal-care items on a shelf.

The set is also described for use in closets and other small spaces. Before choosing a spot, compare the listed exterior dimensions with the available surface and consider whether you want to stack the units or keep them side by side. The product information gives overall dimensions, not the usable interior measurements of each drawer.

Who it’s for

It’s a great fit if you want multiple small compartments for everyday items without moving to a larger cabinet or storage system. Students and anyone organizing a desk, shelf, or small bathroom area may find the two organizers more flexible than a single container, especially when different categories of supplies need to stay separate.

Buyer feedback often highlights the compact footprint and usefulness for organizing papers, classroom supplies, and other small items. Some also appreciate that the drawers slide easily. Feedback on drawer movement is mixed, however: a few buyers report that drawers can stick or may not pull out fully, so smooth movement should not be assumed in every case.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want drawer-style storage for smaller essentials and value being able to place or stack two matching units. It offers a different approach from open trays: contents are divided into drawers, with clear fronts for visibility and a top surface for additional items. That setup can be useful when a desk or shelf needs both sorting and a relatively compact footprint.

If you mainly need one open area for items you reach for constantly, a tray may be a more direct fit. These organizers are intended for separating everyday supplies, and the available details do not specify each drawer’s interior capacity. Check the exterior measurements against your intended space, particularly if you plan to stack both units.
