EHEYCIGA DCC010 48-Inch Dog Crate Cover with Mesh, 600D Oxford Fabric

For a wire crate set up on a patio or in a room with bright windows, the EHEYCIGA DCC010 adds a fabric cover while keeping mesh openings available for airflow and visibility.

It is sized for a 48 x 30 x 33-inch crate and made from 600D polyester Oxford fabric. The beige cover is designed for indoor or outdoor use.

Front and side zippered panels provide access at different crate door positions. The cover is sold on its own, the crate is not included.

Key points

The 600D polyester Oxford fabric is described as windproof, water-resistant, and UV-protective. That makes the cover relevant for shade and shelter from rain, though the product details describe water resistance rather than specifying a level of waterproof performance. The fabric is intended for daily use indoors or outdoors.

Mesh windows allow airflow and let a dog see out. The listing specifies three mesh windows and two doors, giving you options for visibility and access. When the weather turns cold, the mesh window can be closed to block wind, according to the product details.

Dual zippered panels at the front and side accommodate different door placements. Elastic toggles at the bottom corners help secure the cover to the crate, which is useful when setting it up outdoors or moving it for travel. The cover is also described as helping create a more den-like space and reduce noise and anxiety, those effects can vary by dog.

Who it’s for

This cover is intended for owners with a 48-inch standard wire crate who want shade and a more enclosed feel without blocking every view or airflow opening. For example, it could be placed over a crate in a sunny part of a room, with the mesh left open for ventilation, or used outside when the dog needs a shaded resting spot.

Compared with leaving a wire crate uncovered, this adds a fabric barrier and adjustable openings. It is not a replacement for choosing the right crate size: the listed dimensions are 48 x 30 x 33 inches, and the cover is described as fitting most standard 48-inch wire crates. Check the crate’s shape and door positions against those dimensions before choosing it.

Usage tips

Place the cover diagonally over the top of the crate, then fasten the elastic toggles at the bottom corners. Use the front or side zipper panel that lines up with the crate door. Leave mesh openings available when airflow and visibility matter, close the window when you want to block wind in colder conditions.

The product details list the cover for indoor, outdoor, and travel use. For outdoor setup, its stated water and UV resistance may be useful, but the listing does not give a specific weather-exposure rating. The cover’s 4.4-pound item weight and dimensions may also matter if you plan to pack it for travel.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if your crate matches the listed dimensions and you want a cover with mesh ventilation, two zippered access panels, and corner toggles. The choice is more specific than a basic fabric drape because it includes adjustable openings and is made for a 48-inch wire crate.

Better avoided if your crate is a different size or you need the crate itself, since this package includes the cover only. If you need a guaranteed fit for a particular crate, compare its measurements and door layout with the cover before buying.
