EHEYCIGA Dog Crate Mat, 36 x 23 in

Technical details

The waffle fabric gives this EHEYCIGA dog mat a soft, breathable surface, while the non-slip bottom is designed to help keep it from shifting on a crate floor or household surface. Reinforced stitching is intended to help the mat hold its shape through regular use.

The listed size is 36 x 23 in, and the color is beige. It is machine washable, lightweight, and foldable. Those details make it easier to move between a crate, a room at home, and a trip than a bulky, fixed pet bed. One practical limitation: the listing does not give a thickness or describe a separate padded layer, so there is no basis to expect the cushioning of a deeper bed.

Compatibility

The mat is described as fitting most standard metal and plastic pet crates, though “most” does not guarantee a fit for every crate. Measure the crate floor and compare it with the listed 36 x 23 in size before choosing it. The description also names cats and other common household pets, so it is not presented as dog-only.

It can also be used on indoor floors or sofas, and the lightweight, foldable design suits packing for a camping trip or road trip. For example, you could fold it into your travel gear, then lay it in a crate or on a flat resting spot at your destination. It makes sense if you want one washable mat for both home and travel rather than a dedicated bed for each place. Not the best choice if your pet needs a clearly specified, thick cushion or if you need a custom-sized crate liner.

Usage tips

Lay the mat flat on a clean, dry surface and check that its edges sit within the crate rather than bunching up. The non-slip underside is meant to help with movement, but it does not establish that the mat will stay put on every floor or during vigorous activity. If you use it on a sofa or outdoors, choose a level spot and keep an eye on whether it shifts.

Machine washing is listed as a care feature, which is useful for a mat that may collect everyday pet hair and dirt. Follow the product’s care label for wash and drying instructions, the supplied information does not specify a temperature or drying method. Compared with a more substantial, stand-alone pet bed, this format prioritizes a portable, easy-care resting surface over stated padding or structure.

Questions before you buy

Can it be machine washed? Yes. The listing describes the mat as machine washable, but does not specify wash settings.

Is it easy to pack for a trip? It is described as lightweight and foldable, and camping and road trips are among its intended uses. The listing does not provide a packed size.

Does the product come in other sizes? The description says multiple size options are available, but the supplied product details identify this mat as 36 x 23 in. Check that size against your setup rather than assuming another option is included.

Final verdict

This EHEYCIGA crate mat is worth considering when you want a washable, foldable surface that can move between a crate and everyday travel. Its non-slip bottom and waffle fabric give it practical appeal for a simple resting spot, and the stated size is clear enough to compare with a crate floor. The tradeoff is that the available details do not establish how thick or cushioned it is. Choose it for portability and straightforward care, look for a bed with specified padding if cushioning is your main priority.
