Cool Toner TN229XL Compatible Laser Toner Cartridges, 4-Pack, Four Colors
Product description
This four-cartridge set includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow toner in the TN229XL format, giving you a coordinated supply for color laser printing.
Each cartridge comes with a pre-installed chip, so there is no need to transfer the chip from an original TN229XL or TN229 cartridge.
With listed Brother HL and MFC printers, this set supports everyday printing at home, school, or the office—from text documents to color pages and graphics.
Everyday use
The kit contains one black cartridge and one each in cyan, magenta, and yellow. That mix is useful when your print routine moves between standard documents and color materials, such as class handouts, reports, or office pages. Instead of sourcing each color separately, you can keep the four main toner colors together for planned replacements.
The cartridges are compatible with Brother MFC-L3780CDW, MFC-L3720CDW, MFC-L3765CDW, and MFC-L8395CDW printers, as well as Brother HL-L3280CDW, HL-L3220CDW, HL-L3300CDW, HL-L3295CDW, and HL-L8245CDW. Match your printer model to this list before ordering to ensure the set is intended for your device. It is a third-party compatible set, rather than Brother OEM toner.

What you’ll notice day to day
A full set of toner colors can support both text-heavy printing and documents that rely on color. The black cartridge is rated for up to 3,000 pages, while each color cartridge is rated for up to 2,300 pages under the stated Letter/A4 paper and 5% coverage conditions. Actual page counts vary with print coverage, so pages with large color areas use toner differently from mostly text-based sheets.
The manufacturer describes the output as sharp, clear text and vivid color. For a practical example, the set can handle a mix of black text pages and color charts or classroom materials on a compatible laser printer. Compared with buying a single-color replacement, this four-color pack provides all four listed toner colors together, which can make it easier to plan for a broader range of print jobs.
Should you buy it?
If you use one of the listed Brother printers and want compatible toner for both black text and color printing, this set brings the four TN229XL colors together and includes pre-installed chips. It suits you if you want to replenish a compatible printer for regular home, school, or office documents without choosing each color as a separate purchase. The stated yields also give you a useful reference when comparing toner options for your typical mix of text and color pages.
