bodkar BK-PL1007-v1 Dual-Head LED Grow Light, 6000K Full Spectrum, USB

Some indoor plants need focused supplemental light, while others simply need a flexible way to brighten a small growing area. The bodkar BK-PL1007-v1 is a dual-head LED grow light designed for potted plants, herbs, and indoor gardens.

Its 6000K white and red LEDs provide a full-spectrum range from 380nm to 800nm. The two adjustable heads can be rotated 360 degrees, helping direct light toward plants as their position or growth changes.

The light plugs into a USB power source and can be placed directly in the soil of a potted plant. Its slim, freestanding design suits a desk, living room, balcony, or other indoor growing spot.

Why it makes sense

This lamp offers a targeted alternative to lighting an entire room when you want to supplement light around a few pots. The dual-head layout helps cover plants from more than one direction, while the adjustable height—from 11.8 to 23.6 inches—lets you position the heads for different plant sizes and growth stages. It is suitable for indoor herbs, succulents, orchids, and other potted plants, including during darker periods of the year.

Power it through the USB port using a phone charger, power bank, or laptop. The 68-inch cord provides reach to a nearby power source, and a groove in the pole helps keep excess cable organized. The light has no built-in timer or dimming function, a compatible smart outlet can provide scheduled on/off control. A power adapter and smart outlet are not included.

Customer feedback often appreciates the simple setup and adjustable height, and some buyers describe positive growth under the light. Opinions on brightness vary, and some customers report flickering or durability concerns. These comments are useful context when choosing a focused supplemental light for a compact plant area.

Key takeaways

The two heads rotate independently through a full 360-degree range, making it easier to aim light toward nearby foliage rather than relying on one fixed direction. The height-adjustable pole supports changes in placement as plants grow, and the USB connection offers several practical power-source options for a home or office setup.

At 6000K, the white-and-red full-spectrum lighting is intended for indoor plant growth. The light can be used with herbs, succulents, flowering plants, and other potted greenery. For a small herb garden on a desk or a few succulents gathered in a dim corner, set the lamp into the pot, adjust the head positions, and connect it to a USB power source. This focused setup keeps supplemental lighting close to the plants without requiring a larger freestanding grow-light arrangement.

Usage tips

Place the pole securely in the soil of the potted plant, then adjust the height and rotate the heads to aim them toward the foliage. Reposition the heads as the plant grows or as you arrange pots in the covered area. The USB connection works with a phone charger, power bank, or laptop, for scheduled lighting, pair it with a smart outlet. The lamp is not dimmable, so its brightness cannot be adjusted through the light itself.

Final verdict

The bodkar BK-PL1007-v1 is a practical fit for indoor gardeners who want compact, adjustable supplemental lighting for potted plants. Its dual rotating heads, adjustable height, full-spectrum 6000K LEDs, and USB power make it especially useful for directing light toward herbs, succulents, or a small collection of plants in a home or office.
