Bedsure Waterproof Dog Blanket 50x60

On-body feel

When your dog settles on the couch or bed, a blanket can add a softer surface while helping shield the furniture from fur and spills. This Bedsure dog blanket pairs plush Sherpa with corduroy and has a waterproof lining between the fabrics, the listed size is 50x60 inches, in cream.

It’s reversible, so you can switch which texture faces up. That gives you two surface options without needing a separate throw for a quick change of look.

The soft, warm feel is the main appeal, but the water protection has an important boundary: the Sherpa and corduroy surfaces themselves are not waterproof. The lining is intended to keep spills from passing through to the other side, rather than make every part of the blanket waterproof. If a dog tracks in wet paws, would you want a washable layer between them and the couch? That’s the kind of everyday job this blanket is designed for.

Pros

• Adds a protective layer to furniture: It’s meant to help guard couches, beds, and floors against pet hair, stains, and spills.
• Two textures in one blanket: The reversible design offers both Sherpa and corduroy sides, making it easy to turn over when you want a different feel or surface.
• Designed for straightforward care: The blanket can be machine-washed in cold water and dried on low, according to the product details.
• Easy to take along: Its lightweight design is intended for use beyond the living room, including at a hotel, beach, or campsite.
• No animal-derived materials: The listed fabrics are described as containing no animal-derived materials.

It’s a great fit if you want a cozy, washable furniture cover that can move with your dog from home to a trip. Compared with a basic throw, the lining adds a spill barrier, compared with a dedicated waterproof mat, the plush, reversible fabric puts more emphasis on comfort and home décor.

Final verdict

This blanket makes sense for covering a favorite couch spot, adding a soft layer to a bed, or bringing a familiar resting surface along when traveling. The cream color and two textures also make it easier to use as a home throw rather than something that looks strictly like pet gear.

The key limitation is that only the lining is described as waterproof—not the Sherpa or corduroy surfaces. And while 50x60 inches gives you a defined coverage area, it may not cover a whole sofa or give a large dog room to stretch out across a broad surface. It’s not for you if you need a fully waterproof outer surface or a precisely sized furniture cover. For a washable, portable comfort layer with spill protection built in, the listed features line up with that use, for stronger wet-weather protection, look for a cover designed to be waterproof throughout.
