PERFEMET pmn022 Pink-L Waterproof Pet Blanket, Reversible, 40" x 50

A blanket chosen mainly for softness serves a different need from one meant to help protect furniture from pet messes. The PERFEMET pmn022 Pink-L adds a waterproof layer beneath its reversible surface. Would that extra barrier help where your pet rests most? Its 40" x 50" size gives you a defined area to place on a bed, sofa, or other spot.

The essentials

This lightweight polyester throw has a Sherpa fleece side and a corduroy side, so you can choose which texture faces up. A waterproof membrane sits between the fabric layers and is intended to block liquids such as urine, saliva, and spills. The distinction matters: the Sherpa and corduroy surfaces themselves are not waterproof, so protection comes from the inner layer rather than from a water-resistant feel on top.

For a practical setup, spread it over the part of a couch or bed your pet commonly uses, or place it in a crate or on a car seat. It can also serve as a pet resting blanket for camping. The stated uses include helping shield furniture from fur, scratches, and stains, though the listed 40" x 50" dimensions determine how much of a surface it covers. Measure the intended area if full coverage matters. Compared with a simple throw selected just for lounging, this layered design prioritizes a barrier beneath the cozy fabric, a softness-first blanket may make more sense if liquid protection is not a concern.

Care & maintenance

The blanket is machine washable. The care details specify cold machine washing and low-heat tumble drying, which gives you a straightforward way to refresh it after regular use. Follow those care conditions rather than assuming any wash or drying setting is suitable. Since the barrier is inside the blanket, keeping to the stated care instructions is a sensible part of maintaining it.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the blanket with the side your pet prefers facing up, and check that the area you want protected sits fully beneath it. For a couch, that may mean covering the pet’s usual resting spot rather than expecting this size to cover the entire piece of furniture. When traveling, its lightweight, foldable design makes it easier to carry along for a car seat or campsite. It can also be used on a bed or floor when you want to designate a familiar resting place.

A solid pick if you want a reversible pet throw with an internal waterproof membrane for everyday furniture protection. It may not suit you if you need the exposed Sherpa or corduroy fabric itself to be waterproof, those surfaces are specifically not described that way. The listed size is also worth matching to the area you plan to cover before choosing this variant.

When it makes sense

Choose this PERFEMET blanket when your priority is combining a soft resting surface with a barrier intended to help protect a particular spot from liquid messes. Its reversible fleece-and-corduroy construction gives you two surface textures, while the pink color can work as a visible home accent. For a pet that uses a small, consistent area of a bed, couch, crate, or car seat, the 40" x 50" format offers a clear placement target. If your main need is a larger furniture cover, first compare the dimensions with that surface, the useful question is whether this specific size covers the area your pet actually uses.
