Bedsure Waterproof Pet Blanket King

Key points

For a dog that likes to curl up on the bed or couch, this Bedsure blanket adds a soft layer between your pet and the furniture. It has a corduroy side and a Sherpa side, with a waterproof lining intended to help stop spills from soaking through to the surface underneath.

The listed King size is 86" x 108", so it may cover a broad area of a bed or sofa. Its cream color and reversible design give you two textures to use, while the blanket can also be folded for trips or a change of resting spot.

On-body feel

The appeal here is comfort as much as protection: the plush Sherpa and corduroy fleece offer a softer place for a dog to settle than a bare couch or a basic furniture cover. Since the blanket is reversible, you can choose the texture that suits the moment, or flip it when one side needs a break. The materials are described as containing no animal-derived materials.

Keep in mind that the corduroy and Sherpa themselves are not waterproof, protection comes from the interior lining. That distinction matters if you’re choosing it mainly to guard against accidents or a larger spill. It suits you if you want a cozy, washable cover for shared furniture, rather than a thin, purely functional barrier.

Tips for day-to-day use

Spread it over the part of the bed or couch your pet uses most, then tuck or fold the extra fabric where it won’t get in the way. For example, it can cover the seat and back of a couch where a dog naps, helping catch loose hair and everyday mess before they reach the upholstery. It’s also described as portable for use at a hotel, beach, or campsite, though the listing doesn’t give details about how compact it is when packed.

For cleaning, the stated care instructions are machine wash in cold water and dry on low. You may want to skip it if you need every outer layer to repel moisture, or if you need a precisely fitted furniture cover, no attachment or stay-put feature is specified. Compared with a simple waterproof sheet, this one puts more emphasis on a plush, reversible resting surface, with the tradeoff that its soft outer fabrics are not waterproof.

Practical doubts

Does the whole blanket repel water? No. The listing says the interior lining is waterproof and spill resistant, while the Sherpa and corduroy layers are not.

Can it go in the washing machine? Yes. The stated instructions are to machine wash in cold water and dry at low temperature.

Is it only for a bed? No. It is presented as a cover for beds, couches, and floors, and as a portable blanket for trips. The listed King dimensions are 86" x 108".

Buying verdict

This blanket makes sense if your priority is giving a dog a soft, reversible place to lounge while adding a lined layer between spills and furniture. The large listed dimensions may suit broader surfaces, but could be more fabric than you need for a small resting spot. You May Want to Skip It If your main requirement is a fully waterproof exterior or a fitted cover that stays secured in place, those features aren’t stated here.
