AUTORIFIC AR-GYB-5/10Pack Acoustic Panels, 5-Pack, Silver Gray, 0.95 NRC

What you’ll notice day to day

The 100% polyester panels are designed to absorb reflected sound, helping reduce echoes and reverberation in a room. That can make conversations, calls, and recorded audio easier to hear by cutting down on the sound that bounces around the space. Their 0.95 NRC rating and dense, 230 kg/m³ construction make them a practical choice for treating reflective areas at home or in a studio.

Each panel has a silver-gray striped surface that adds a finished look to the wall while serving an acoustic purpose. Use several together to create a consistent treatment area, or cut panels into shapes for a more customized arrangement. The panels absorb sound rather than block it, so they’re intended to improve room acoustics, not serve as a sound barrier between spaces.

Customers often praise the panels for sound clarity, appearance, and straightforward installation, and some say they are easy to cut to size. Feedback on the adhesive is mixed, so customers’ experiences with the included sticky squares vary.

Best use cases

These panels suit rooms where reflected sound interferes with speaking or listening, such as a home office used for video calls, a bedroom, or a recording and audio-visual studio. Placing them on smooth walls, doors, or ceilings lets you target surfaces where echoes are noticeable. In a large room or one with high ceilings, a panel arrangement can help manage reverberation and make spoken or recorded sound clearer within the space.

They’re also useful when you want acoustic treatment that contributes to the room’s appearance. The striped felt-like finish provides a decorative wall surface, while the panels can be cut into different shapes for DIY designs. Compared with relying only on furnishings to soften a room, wall panels offer a way to add sound-absorbing material directly to selected surfaces. The five-panel pack gives you pieces to arrange as a group or distribute around the room according to the area you want to treat.
