AONKEY DWB24-806032 3L Dog Water Bowl with Floating Slow-Drinking Disk

A standard open bowl keeps things simple, but it may not suit a dog that splashes or drinks quickly. The AONKEY DWB24-806032 adds a floating disk intended to slow water access and reduce splashing.

Its 3-liter capacity and transparent plastic body make it practical for indoor use where you want to see the water level. The gray bowl is designed for medium, large, and giant dogs.

The main tradeoff is care guidance: the product details list it as dishwasher safe, but also include a hand-wash-only instruction. That conflict matters if a specific cleaning method is important to your routine.

Key specifications

• Type: Dog water bowl with floating slow-drinking disk
• Capacity: 3 liters
• Material: Plastic
• Color: Gray
• Dimensions: 9 x 7.2 x 4 inches
• Weight: 615 g
• Recommended use: Indoor
• Dog breed size: Medium, large, and giant

The transparent body helps make the water level visible, while the floating disk and silicone plugs are intended to limit splashing and regulate how quickly water comes through. That makes this a more specialized choice than a basic open bowl, particularly for a dog that tends to leave water around its drinking area. The bowl is also described as suitable for travel, but the buyer feedback supplied specifically mentions stationary indoor use, so its clearest fit is at home.

How to use it

Fill the bowl with water and let your dog drink through the floating disk. The design is intended to make water available more gradually, which may help keep a messy drinking spot drier, it should not be treated as a substitute for supervising a pet or monitoring its hydration. The 3-liter capacity means there is more water available between refills than in a small bowl, though actual refill needs depend on the dog and its use.

Place it in the indoor area where your dog normally drinks. Buyers commonly describe less splashing and easier cleanup, including for dogs that make a mess around an ordinary bowl. Those comments reflect individual experiences, not a guarantee that every spill will be prevented. The transparent sides also let you check the remaining water without lifting the bowl.

What you get

The listed package includes one dog bowl and one one-piece molded floating disk. The manufacturer says the disk does not need to be pried open for cleaning, it can be rinsed and wiped with a soft cloth. Dishwasher use is also listed, but because the care information separately says hand wash only, follow the instructions supplied with the item if you choose between those methods.

What to clarify

Is this bowl intended for indoor use? Yes. Indoor use is listed as the recommended use, and buyer feedback also describes it working well in a stationary indoor setup.

Does the floating disk help with splashing? It is designed to slow water access and reduce splashes. Buyers often report less mess, but the results described are not a promise of spill-free use in every home.

Can the bowl go in the dishwasher? The product information says it is dishwasher safe, while another care entry says hand wash only. The supplied care instructions should resolve which method applies to your unit.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if your dog tends to splash while drinking, you want a larger-capacity indoor bowl, and seeing the water level is useful. Buyers often highlight reduced mess and straightforward cleaning, which are the main reasons to choose this design over a basic open bowl. Better avoided if you need unambiguous dishwasher instructions or prefer the simplest possible bowl without a drinking-control disk. The listed size range includes medium through giant dogs, but the information does not provide a fit guarantee for an individual pet.
