Yuzi YZ-Cat Bowl-01-6P Shallow Cat Bowls, 5.5-Inch Wide, 8-Piece Set

A shallow, wide dish can make everyday meals easier to reach for a cat that tends to eat from the center of a deeper bowl. The Yuzi YZ-Cat Bowl-01-6P is listed as a set of eight, with a 5.5-inch diameter and a low profile.

Its flat, open shape is intended to keep food accessible without a high rim around the eating area. That makes it a practical format to consider for wet or dry food, and the listing also names kittens and short-legged cats as intended users.

There are a few listing details to sort out before choosing it: the material, set contents, capacity, and care instructions are not consistent across the product information. Those discrepancies matter more than the color or style when you need a specific quantity or material.

The essentials

The product is identified as Yuzi model YZ-Cat Bowl-01-6P. Its stated dimensions are 5.5 inches across and 1.38 inches high, and the product information lists a capacity of 12 ounces in one place and 5.3 ounces per bowl in another. Treat the capacity as unclear rather than assuming either figure is definitive.

The material is also described inconsistently: the specifications say plastic, while the product copy calls it wheat straw. The listing names Type-A Normal Bowls as the color/style and describes a shallow, wide design. If you need a particular material, confirm that detail before buying.

The product name and unit count describe eight bowls, but the included-components field says cat bowls x 6. That makes the exact number supplied uncertain. Buyers generally praise the broad, shallow shape, ease of cleaning, and color options. Feedback is mixed on whether the lightweight bowls stay put on smooth floors, so the reported slip resistance should not be treated as guaranteed.

Cleaning & care

The care information conflicts: the product copy says the bowls are dishwasher safe, while the technical care field says hand wash only. The more cautious approach is hand washing with mild dish soap and warm water unless the seller or packaging confirms otherwise. The smooth rim is described as helping food release more easily during cleaning, but it does not resolve the conflicting care guidance.

Everyday use

For a regular feeding spot, the shallow profile gives a cat room to reach food across the dish rather than eating from a narrow center. The listing says the bowls can be used for wet or dry food, snacks, and water. Their light weight may be useful when carrying or storing dishes, though buyer comments differ on how securely they stay in place during meals.

Worth considering if you want several shallow dishes for rotating meals or feeding more than one pet, once the set quantity is confirmed. It’s not for you if you need a verified material, exact capacity, or a dependable non-slip base, those details are either inconsistent in the listing or receive mixed buyer feedback. A deeper bowl is a different approach and may suit a pet that prefers a raised rim, while this design prioritizes an open, low eating surface.

What to clarify

How many bowls are included? The listing says eight pieces and an eight-count unit, but the included-components field says six bowls. Confirm the delivered quantity.

Can the bowls go in the dishwasher? The product copy says yes, but the care instructions specify hand washing only. Follow the packaging or confirm the care guidance before using a dishwasher.

What are they made of? The specifications list plastic, while the product description calls the material wheat straw. The material is not clear from the available details.

Final verdict

The main reason to choose this set is its shallow, wide format for serving wet or dry food in an open dish. Buyers often like the size and find the bowls easy to clean, but mixed reports about movement on smooth floors and unresolved listing discrepancies make it a less certain pick when exact quantity, material, or care method is essential. Confirm those points first, if they do not affect your decision, the 5.5-inch shallow design is the clearest reason to consider it.
