ALOANES Extended Mouse Pad, 27.6" x 11.8

If you want a dedicated surface for just your mouse, a standard pad takes up less room. The ALOANES extended mouse pad is designed for a different setup: its 27.6-by-11.8-inch surface can hold a keyboard and mouse together, with space left for a few desk essentials. The dark blue fabric also gives a work or gaming area a more unified look.

It’s a desk mat as much as a mouse pad, so the main tradeoff is the footprint it needs.

Best use cases

This format makes sense when your mouse regularly travels across a wide area, or when you prefer your keyboard and mouse to sit on the same surface. For example, you can move from typing to a broad mouse sweep without crossing from the mat onto the desktop. The product is described for gaming, creative work, and everyday office use, but it doesn’t include performance figures that would establish how it compares for specialized gaming needs.

It’s a great fit if you want a broad, consistent surface and some coverage between your desk and everyday scuffs or spills. If you have a compact workspace, measure the available area first: the extended shape may take up more room than you need. It’s not for you if a small, easy-to-move mouse pad is your priority.

Product specs

The mat measures 27.6" x 11.8" x 0.12" and comes in dark blue. Its tight-weave fabric surface is paired with a dense, non-slip rubber base and stitched edges. A water-resistant coating is intended to help protect the desktop from beverage stains, scratches, and routine wear, the listed surface can be wiped with a damp cloth. The raised stitching may also provide a soft boundary near the wrist, though it is still an edge rather than a separate wrist rest.

The base is meant to resist slipping and wrinkling during mouse movement and typing. From the way it is set up, this is a simple, broad desk surface rather than a mat with added storage, lighting, or other electronic features. No material-care instructions beyond damp-cloth wiping are provided, so avoid assuming it is machine washable.

Where it shines

The practical appeal is having the keyboard, mouse, and a few supplies on one continuous surface. That can make a desk feel less fragmented and helps keep the mouse in the same fabric area as you reposition it. The stitched border is intended to resist fraying, curling, and peeling, while the rubber underside is there to keep the mat planted during faster or wider movements.

Compared with buying a basic mouse-only pad, this gives more desktop coverage and a shared surface for typing and pointing. The tradeoff is that a smaller pad is easier to fit on a crowded desk and leaves more of the desktop exposed. The coating may make everyday wipe-ups simpler, but water-resistant does not mean the mat should be treated as fully waterproof or left wet.

Is it worth it?

Choose this ALOANES mat if you want a dark blue, extended fabric surface that can accommodate both keyboard and mouse, and you have enough desk space to leave it in place. Its stitched edges, rubber base, and wipe-clean coating address common desk-mat concerns without adding complicated features.

Skip it if you only need a compact target for your mouse, or if your desk cannot comfortably fit a 27.6" x 11.8" mat. The product details also don’t establish how it performs with every mouse sensor or how the fabric holds up under conditions beyond the stated everyday use. For a straightforward, shared work-and-mouse surface, its size and construction are the clearest reasons to consider it.
