CMYBabee Black Toner Cartridge 137

The four-cartridge pack gives you multiple black toner replacements on hand, which can be useful when a compatible printer is part of your regular home or office routine.

Each cartridge is listed for up to 2,400 pages at 5% coverage on A4 paper. That figure is a reference point, not a promise for every print job.

If you prioritize having replacements ready, a four-pack is practical, if you prefer to buy only when toner runs low, a smaller pack may suit your habits better.

Where it shines

This is a non-original replacement for select Canon laser printers that use 137 toner. The listed compatibility spans ImageCLASS models including the MF212w, MF216n, MF217w, MF227dw, MF232w, MF236n, MF242dw, MF244dw, MF247dw and MF249dw, as well as the LBP151dw and D570. Check your exact printer model against the list before choosing, a similar model name alone does not confirm compatibility.

For a small office printing invoices, forms, or other text-heavy pages, keeping spare cartridges nearby can help avoid a last-minute supply run. The product description also claims sharp black output, though it does not provide independent print samples or a measured comparison with other replacements. It’s a great fit if you want a multi-cartridge supply for one of the listed printers and can use black toner regularly.

Highlights

The box contains four black 137 cartridges, and the product is identified as not original. The stated yield is up to 2,400 pages per cartridge, based on 5% coverage on A4 paper. Dense graphics, filled pages, and other high-coverage jobs can use toner faster, so actual page count may be lower than that estimate. According to the maker, the cartridges undergo quality and compatibility checks, but no details about the testing method are provided.

The main practical benefit is having several replacements available rather than purchasing one cartridge at a time. That makes more sense for steady printing than for occasional use, when the extra cartridges may sit unused for longer. Better avoided if your printer is not among the listed models, or if you specifically need an original Canon cartridge.

Best use cases

This pack is aimed at routine black-and-white printing on compatible laser printers: work documents, school paperwork, forms, and similar everyday pages. Before ordering, compare the model number printed on your printer or in its documentation with the compatibility list. Also consider your typical page coverage: mostly text is closer to the stated 5% reference than pages with large dark areas or graphics.

There is no care or storage guidance in the supplied product information, so it would be unwise to assume particular handling requirements or a shelf life. If you print infrequently, buying fewer cartridges at a time may be a better match, for regular use, keeping the other cartridges as replacements can be more convenient.

Final verdict

The CMYBabee 137 four-pack is worth considering if you own one of the listed Canon laser printers, use black toner consistently, and are comfortable choosing a non-original replacement. Its clearest advantage is the supply of four cartridges, with a stated yield estimate for each. The key trade-offs are that the yield depends on page coverage and the listing does not provide detailed test results. Match your exact printer model first, then decide whether a multi-pack suits how often you print.
