FLOREXP Vinyl Flooring 2.0mm peel-and-stick planks 🪵
Product description
This self-adhesive vinyl plank from FLOREXP recreates a wood-effect finish in a light grey tone and aims to refresh bedrooms or offices with minimal fuss. Its peel-and-stick installation and 2.0 mm thickness make it a quick option for flat, dry subfloors, offering water-resistant surface protection and a wood grain texture for a natural look.
Key Points
The pack includes 36 planks covering approximately 5.02 m², with each plank sized about 6 inches wide by 36 inches long, so you can estimate how many packs you need for small to medium rooms. The product is reported by the manufacturer to be scratch and oil resistant, which helps maintain appearance in everyday domestic environments. Installation is straightforward: the backing is peeled away and the adhesive applied across the whole rear surface for consistent adhesion. Consider that the product performs best on smooth, level and dry floors, and that temperature changes may require a small gap at the walls to accommodate expansion.

Benefits
The vinyl surface is described as 100% surface waterproof, which makes day-to-day cleaning easier and reduces concerns about surface moisture affecting the look. The wood grain texture gives a more authentic appearance than plain smooth vinyl, contributing to a warmer aesthetic in living spaces. Because the adhesive is applied across the whole back of each plank, adhesion tends to feel more uniform than spot-glue products, and this helps reduce lifting when installed on the recommended surfaces. Also, the relatively thin profile keeps floor height changes to a minimum when used in homes where thresholds and doors are a consideration.
Usage Recommendations
Ensure the subfloor is clean, flat and dry before laying the planks, and acclimatise the flooring in the room for a short period on milder days to allow the adhesive to perform as intended. During cold conditions, leave a small expansion gap at the perimeter as advised by the manufacturer to prevent buckling with seasonal temperature changes. For long-term upkeep, regular sweeping and damp mopping with non-abrasive cleaners will help retain the finish. Note that while the material is scratch and oil resistant according to the manufacturer, very heavy furniture or sharp objects may still mark the surface over time, so use felt pads or protective mats where appropriate.
