Optimal Products Radiator Foil Reflector Roll, 5m x 60cm, 3mm
Product description
Product specs
At 5m x 60cm, this laminated aluminium radiator foil roll provides a reflective insulation layer for fitting behind radiators. Its roll format gives you material to cover the wall area behind several radiators, helping direct heat back into the room and limit heat loss through the wall.
The foil is 3mm thick and is supplied with sticker pads for fitting. Its length is estimated to cover approximately three or more radiators, depending on their size and the area being covered.
- Type: Reflective radiator insulation foil

Practical tips
Use the foil on the wall behind radiators, where it can provide a reflective barrier between the radiator and the wall. The roll format is useful when treating several radiator locations as part of the same project, rather than choosing separate, pre-cut panels for each one. Plan the areas to cover before fitting so you can make practical use of the full 5m length.
The supplied sticker pads help secure the foil in position. Place the material behind the radiator and use the pads to hold it against the wall. This makes the product a focused option for improving the area around existing radiators, without turning the job into a broader room-insulation project. The reflective laminated aluminium construction is designed to help reduce heat lost into the wall and support more effective use of the heat produced by your radiators.
In the box
The roll comes with 12 sticker pads measuring 60 x 38 x 1.5mm each, providing the fixing pads for installation behind radiators.
Practical questions
Where should radiator foil be installed? Fit it on the wall behind a radiator. The reflective layer is intended to help limit heat loss through that wall and reflect heat back towards the room.
How many radiators can the roll cover? The 5m roll is estimated to cover approximately three or more radiators. The actual number depends on the size of each radiator and the amount of wall area you want to cover.
Are fixing pads included? Yes. The roll includes 12 sticker pads, each measuring 60 x 38 x 1.5mm, to help secure the foil behind the radiators.
Buying verdict
This roll suits a targeted radiator-insulation project where you want one continuous length of reflective laminated aluminium for use behind several radiators. Its 5m x 60cm format, 3mm thickness and included sticker pads give you the core materials for fitting the foil in place, while the reflective layer helps address heat loss through the wall behind the radiator. It is a practical choice for focusing on those areas rather than taking on a wider insulation job.
