Arrow Video Soylent Green Limited Edition Blu-ray, Region B

Why it’s worth it

Blu-ray gives this limited-edition release a physical format for adding Soylent Green to a film collection or choosing it for a planned movie night. The Region B designation is a practical detail for playback: check that your Blu-ray player supports Region B, or use a compatible region-free player, before settling in to watch.

The tagline places the story in 2022 and sets out a world where people will do anything to get what they need. That premise gives the release a clear point of interest for viewers drawn to films built around a stark vision of the future, as well as collectors looking for a particular title in a physical edition.

Key points

This is the Limited Edition Blu-ray of Soylent Green from Arrow Video. The title and edition are easy to identify when adding it to a collection, while the Blu-ray format suits buyers who want a disc-based copy rather than simply looking for a way to watch a film. Its Region B coding is especially relevant when choosing between discs: matching the disc to a compatible player helps make playback straightforward.

The promotional line focuses on human need and survival, giving prospective viewers a concise introduction to the film’s central premise without relying on unrelated feature claims. It may appeal to someone exploring science-fiction titles with a future-facing setting, or to a collector seeking this specific Arrow Video edition. The practical choice is between a physical release for a shelf and repeat viewing, and a viewing option chosen purely for immediate access, this Blu-ray is aimed at the former.

Who it’s for

Worth considering if you want Soylent Green in a named Arrow Video Blu-ray edition and have a player suited to Region B discs. It also makes sense for a film collection organised around science fiction or stories about people struggling to meet their needs. The limited-edition label identifies the release, while the Blu-ray format gives it a place alongside other physical films. For a film night, the tagline offers a quick way to set expectations: a future setting, urgent human needs and Soylent Green at the centre of the pitch.

Final verdict

Arrow Video’s Soylent Green Limited Edition Blu-ray is a focused choice for viewers and collectors who want this particular film on disc. Its defining purchase details are the Blu-ray format, the Region B designation and the limited-edition release, together, they help identify the right version for a compatible setup and a physical film collection.
