VASAGLE BRENTA BLH213B01 Laundry Sorter, 3 x 40L Bags and 2 Shelves
Product description
At 92.5 x 33 x 92 cm, the VASAGLE BRENTA laundry sorter combines three removable bags with two shelves. Each bag holds 40L, giving a stated total capacity of 120L. Its steel frame, MDF shelves and Rustic Brown and Black finish make it a storage unit as well as a laundry hamper. The three compartments let you separate washing by colour or type before laundry day.
Practical tips
Set aside a compartment for each kind of wash you regularly separate, such as colours and lights, so clothes are sorted as they go into the hamper. When it is time to wash, the bags pull out entirely and have bottom handles for carrying laundry. Their bottom boards are intended to help the bags keep their shape, the fabric liners are not machine-washable, so they need to be cared for without putting them in a washing machine.
The shelves offer space for toiletries or other everyday laundry items, with a stated maximum static load of 20 kg per shelf. They are not waterproof, so keep wet clothes off them and dry the shelves promptly if they get wet. Use the included anti-tip kit to secure the unit to the wall, and take care of fingers when pulling the bags out or pushing them back in. It is not designed to be sat on.
Where it shines
The main advantage over a basic single-compartment hamper is the built-in sorting: three bags make it easier to keep different loads apart without lining up separate baskets. The two shelves also provide a place for laundry essentials, while the 33 cm depth may suit a narrow laundry area or a corner of a bathroom, bedroom or balcony. For example, in a busy household, separate bags can collect different colours or types of washing during the week, with the removable liners taken to the washing machine when needed.
Buyers particularly highlight the appearance, straightforward assembly and sturdy feel, with some also mentioning that the bags hold their shape. Those impressions may help if you are choosing a visible piece of storage, but they do not replace checking that the stated dimensions and capacity work for your space and routine. It suits you if you want sorting and shelf storage together rather than several separate laundry baskets.
Worth noting
The overall capacity is divided between three bags rather than held in one open compartment, which is useful for sorting but means each load has its own 40L space. The listed maximum static load for each liner is 8 kg, while each shelf is rated for up to 20 kg, these figures describe different parts of the unit. If you prefer a washable liner, note that these fabric bags cannot go in a washing machine. The shelves also need to stay dry, so this is better suited to storing toiletries and laundry essentials than damp items.
Practical questions
Can the bags be removed for carrying? Yes. Each liner can be pulled out completely and has bottom handles to help carry clothes.
How much laundry does it hold? The three bags are listed at 40L each, for a stated combined capacity of 120L.
What should go on the shelves? They can hold toiletries and other everyday items, up to 20 kg per shelf. Keep wet clothes off them, as the shelves are not waterproof.
Is it worth it?
The BRENTA BLH213B01 is worth considering if you want a single unit that separates laundry into three removable bags and adds two shelves for storage. Its usefulness depends on having room for its 92.5 x 33 x 92 cm footprint and being comfortable with liners that cannot be machine-washed. If separate baskets or washable bags matter more than integrated shelving, a simpler arrangement may suit your routine better.
