UGREEN 95223 DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter, 2-Pack, Aluminium

When you want to connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer to an HDMI screen, a compact adapter keeps the setup straightforward. This UGREEN two-pack is designed for a one-way connection, making it useful for adding a monitor to a home-office desk or connecting a laptop or desktop to an HDMI projector.

Its aluminium-alloy housing and support for HDCP and EDID make it a practical fit for everyday multi-screen use.

How to use it

Connect the DisplayPort male plug to the source device, then connect an HDMI lead from the adapter to the screen. The signal travels from DisplayPort to HDMI only, so it is intended for a DisplayPort output and an HDMI display, not the reverse. Plug-and-play operation and EDID support help the source and display configure their connection automatically, while HDCP support allows protected content to be displayed.

For a home-office arrangement, use one adapter to connect a compatible laptop or desktop to an HDMI monitor. The second gives you another adapter for a separate workstation or display setup. The compact connector is designed not to protrude far from the back of the device, helping keep cable connections manageable when space is tight.
