What matters most

This cable brings together a USB-C plug for a computer or other host device and a USB-B connection for compatible equipment. That makes it useful for connecting USB-B printers and scanners to USB-C laptops, as well as for linking compatible MIDI controllers or keyboards. The stated transfer rate is up to 480Mbps, supporting everyday data transfer and printing tasks. For a printer setup, a direct cable connection offers a practical alternative to wireless printing, for a MIDI setup, it provides a wired link between compatible equipment and a USB-C device.

Buyers often highlight that the cable works with a range of devices, including digital pianos and MIDI controllers, and describe its construction and connectivity positively. These impressions complement its stated uses, while the specific device connection still depends on having the matching USB-C and USB-B ports.

Size & fit

The cable has a round profile and a grey, high-density nylon braid, with a wear-resistant aluminium-alloy shell and nickel-plated connectors. The braided exterior is intended to resist wear from regular handling, while the reinforced connector area adds protection where the cable meets its plugs. Its indoor-use design suits a desk, home music setup or printer station, where a wired connection can stay in place between sessions. Match the USB-C end to your host device and the USB-B end to the printer, scanner or other peripheral.

Choose this cable if you need to connect a USB-B printer or scanner to a USB-C laptop, or want a wired connection for compatible MIDI equipment.
