Theo Klein 5790 Barbie Hairdressing Set with Cold-Air Toy Hair Dryer

When play centres on salon routines rather than simply dressing a doll, this Barbie hairdressing set gives children tools for brushing, drying and styling. Its battery-operated toy hair dryer blows cold air, so the pretend blow-dry feels like part of the routine without using hot air. Designed for children aged three and over, it also encourages creativity and fine motor skills through role play.

How to use it

Set a doll in front of the mirror and use the comb or brush to prepare its hair for styling. The toy dryer adds a pretend blow-dry, while the clips help children finish the look and create different hairstyles. Children can also include their own hair in the role play, making the set useful for taking turns as stylist and client or inventing a salon story together.

The activities are simple to pick up and combine: brushing, combing, pretending to dry and attaching clips. This gives little hands several ways to take part, while the open-ended salon theme leaves room for children to choose the style and direct the play. The dryer is battery-operated and uses one R6-AA battery, which is not included.

What you get

The set includes a toy hair dryer with an attachment and cold-air function, a mirror, a comb, a brush, four hair clips and four clips. The Barbie look ties the accessories together for children who enjoy styling dolls and creating coordinated salon play. The pieces support a straightforward routine, from getting a doll ready at the mirror to adding finishing touches with the clips.

Buyers particularly highlight the enjoyment the set brings, with feedback also describing it as good quality. That fits its role as a hands-on pretend-play set: children can return to the styling routine with different dolls and hairstyles, rather than following a single fixed way to play.
