QeeHeng PT0093 38-Piece Kids’ Tool Set with Hand Saw, Bag and Apron
Product description
Some children are happiest with make-believe tools, others are ready to take part in real, hands-on craft projects. The QeeHeng PT0093 is a children’s tool set for the latter, with practical hand tools for supervised woodworking and DIY activities.
It includes 38 pieces, including a hand saw, hammer, screwdrivers, ruler, spirit level and clamps. A tool bag and adjustable apron help keep the kit together and the tools close by while children work.
Designed for ages 6 and up, the set also includes safety glasses and work gloves. Its manual tools need no batteries, making it straightforward to bring out for a shared project at home or outdoors.
Key features
The range of tools gives children a practical way to join in with simple making tasks, rather than just act out a building project. Using a hammer, saw or screwdriver alongside an adult can help develop hand-eye coordination, introduce practical STEM skills and encourage creative problem-solving. It also creates opportunities for parent-child projects where children can take an active role.
The carrying bag provides a place to store and transport the tools, while the apron has pockets to keep useful items within reach. Safety glasses and work gloves are included for use during craft activities. Buyers’ comments often highlight the set’s selection of basic tools, its size for children’s hands and how much children enjoy using it, these are helpful indications of what families value about the kit.
Size & fit
The set measures 32.8 x 11.4 x 18.7 centimetres, giving you a useful guide to the space it takes up when stored. The apron is adjustable, and its pockets help keep tools accessible during a project. The bag is described as a 12 inch tool bag, making it easier to carry the kit between a storage spot and the work area.
The tools are made from metal and the set is red. For children aged 6 and up, the included apron and protective glasses and gloves make it easier to get ready for a shared craft activity. An adult can help choose a suitable task and keep the tools organised as the child works.
Practical tips
Set out the tools needed for the task and use the bag to keep the rest together. For example, a child can help with a simple woodworking activity by using the ruler and level to plan, then working with the hammer or screwdriver alongside a parent. The hand-powered tools mean there is no battery setup, and no assembly is required before use.
Keep the glasses and gloves close at hand during projects, and make the activity a collaborative one. This suits families who want children to handle real tools with guidance, rather than choosing a set intended only for pretend play. The apron pockets are useful for keeping the tools being used nearby, while the bag makes tidying up part of the routine.
Should you buy it?
A solid pick if you’re looking for a hands-on gift for a child aged 6 or over who enjoys making and building. The 38-piece selection, adjustable apron, carrying bag and included safety glasses and gloves bring the essentials for shared craft projects together in one set. It’s particularly suited to families who want to encourage practical skills and creative problem-solving through real, manual tools.
