Who it’s for

This is aimed at Simpsons fans aged 14 and up, whether they want a character-themed toy to play with or a distinctive piece for a collection. Its red plastic telephone design gives it a recognisable place alongside other Simpsons memorabilia, and the spoken phrases bring a bit of Springfield’s humour into a room.

Would you rather choose the joke yourself or wait for Moe’s phone to ring? The two modes let fans switch between those styles of play. Customer feedback often highlights the nostalgic appeal and the amusement of the calls, while some buyers report that the sound can be too quiet and opinions on functionality are mixed. These comments offer useful context when choosing it as a gift or collectible.

Everyday use

For the dialling mode, lift the receiver and enter any seven digits to trigger a random prank call. In the other mode, the phone rings at random and plays a call when the receiver is picked up. This simple choice makes it easy to share the toy around during a Simpsons-themed gathering or keep it on display and use it for a quick bit of character-led fun.

Unlike a static series collectible, this phone includes interactive sound and two ways to trigger its phrases. It is also suited to fans who enjoy the show’s classic calls to Moe’s Tavern, rather than someone looking for a conventional everyday telephone.

What to clarify

How do the two modes work? In one mode, pick up the receiver and dial any seven digits to hear a random prank call. In the other, the phone calls at random and plays a call when you pick up.

Are batteries included? Yes. The phone requires three AAA batteries, and they are included.

What age is it for, and what language are the phrases in? It is suggested for ages 14 and up, and the phrases are in English.

Should you buy it?

If you are choosing a gift for a Simpsons fan or adding an interactive piece to a collection, the Moe’s Prank Phone combines the recognisable Moe’s Tavern design with more than 10 calls and phrases and two ways to play. Its strongest appeal is the chance to bring classic Springfield humour off the screen and into a fan’s space.
