SONGMICS LSF102G51 Storage Ottoman, 32 L Foldable Footstool, 130 kg Capacity
Product description
If you need a compact footrest that can also keep books, clothes or magazines out of sight, the SONGMICS LSF102G51 combines a padded top with internal storage. Its square footprint is suited to a living room, bedroom or study.
Could a footstool do more than provide a place to rest your feet? Here, the lid covers a 32 L compartment, giving it a second everyday use without taking up the space of a separate storage box.
The linen-look fabric and quilted detailing give it a more finished appearance than a basic storage box. It folds down when it is not needed, making it easier to put away between uses.
Size & fit
At 40 x 31 x 31 cm, this is a compact, square ottoman rather than a large bench. It can sit beside a sofa or in a bedroom, where the compartment can hold smaller household items such as books, clothes and magazines. The stated storage volume is 32 L, so it offers useful concealed space while keeping the overall footprint modest.
The top has double-layer fabric and high-resilience sponge, intended to make it comfortable as a seat or footrest. The frame and base use MDF panels, and the stated maximum static load is 130 kg. The lid must be fully in place before anyone sits on it, oversized items should not be put inside.
Why it’s worth it
The practical appeal is the combination of a padded surface and storage in one piece. Compared with a simple footstool with no compartment, it can also help keep reading material or spare clothes tucked away. Compared with a larger storage bench, its smaller dimensions may be easier to place beside a chair or in a tighter corner, though it will not provide the same kind of seating surface.
It suits you if you want a footrest that can also organise a modest amount of everyday clutter, and would rather fold it away than leave it out permanently. The set-up is straightforward: insert the bottom panel, then fold the ottoman away when it is not in use. Customers have praised its compact size, appearance, comfort and ease of assembly, and some specifically value the space for books or clothes. Those comments are useful impressions, but the stated dimensions and capacity are the clearest guide to whether it meets your needs.
The slate grey and ink black colour combination, quilted finish and linen-look polyester fabric give it a softer look than a plain fabric cube. It might not be a great match if you need to store oversized belongings, as the product guidance specifically advises against that. For everyday items that fit within the compartment, it offers a tidy alternative to leaving them on a nearby surface.

Should you buy it?
Choose this SONGMICS ottoman if a compact footrest with concealed storage suits your room and the 32 L compartment matches what you plan to keep inside. Its foldable design is useful when you want to clear the floor afterwards. If your priority is storing bulky items, or you need a larger seating surface, this small format is less suited to that job.
