Scandinavian Hub 8A-CKRK-WJYD Under-Desk Cable Trays, Set of 2, White Metal

If you need to keep cables and sockets organised beneath a desk, this two-tray set gives them a dedicated place out of sight. Its open metal design leaves the stored cables accessible while allowing airflow around them.

The trays can be mounted in five positions on wooden, MDF or chipboard desks that are at least 17mm thick. Screws and an installation guide are included to help with fitting.

Choose this approach for structured under-desk storage, a loose cable organiser may suit a smaller setup, while the modular design here lets you add further units when you need more space.

Everyday use

A pair of trays helps gather loose cables and power sockets beneath a desk, keeping them off the floor and reducing visible wire clutter around a workstation. This can make the space easier to organise and leave the desktop clearer for everyday work. With cables stored beneath the desk rather than hanging over its edge, the setup looks more orderly without hiding the cables away in a closed compartment.

The open construction promotes airflow around the stored equipment, while the sturdy metal trays support a maximum load of up to 9 kg. The included cable straps help secure extension leads beneath a tray, so cables can be grouped rather than left loose. For a home office, this is useful when several devices share the same desk, in a work area, the trays provide a defined place for sockets and the cables connected to them.

Installation is designed for wooden, MDF and chipboard desks at least 17mm thick. The trays can be fitted in five positions, giving you a choice of placement to suit the desk layout. The set is intended for indoor use. Its modular format also allows further units to be connected when the cable arrangement needs more storage, making it a practical alternative to choosing one fixed-length organiser for every setup.

Box contents

The set includes two cable trays, two Velcro straps, six screws, an installation template and a multilingual user guide. The screws and guide support the screw-on installation, while the template helps with positioning the trays beneath the desk. Once fitted, the straps can be used to keep extension leads in place under the tray.

Is it worth it?

It suits you if you want a neater desk area with room to organise both cables and sockets underneath. The two-tray format, open metal construction and modular design make it useful for a workstation that needs accessible cable storage, with the option to expand the arrangement as requirements grow. Its clear desk compatibility and included fitting components also make it easier to plan the installation around a suitable wooden, MDF or chipboard surface.
