Rothenberger 030925F Propane Constant Regulator for French Bottles, 4 bar

Made for French propane bottle threads, the Rothenberger 030925F is a constant regulator for connecting a bottle to a hose with a G 3/8-inch L connection.

Its 4 bar rating and compatibility with 5 kg, 11 kg and 33 kg French bottles make it straightforward to match the regulator to a suitable bottle and hose.

DVGW certification and Italian manufacture add useful product credentials when choosing a regulator for a propane setup.

Quick overview

This regulator is designed around a specific connection type: the screw threads used on French propane bottles. That focus helps when selecting a replacement or setting up a hose connection for one of the stated bottle sizes, rather than choosing a regulator with a different bottle fitting.

The regulator is rated at 4 bar and has a G 3/8-inch L hose connection. Check that the bottle thread and hose connection in your setup match these fittings before connecting it. The stated compatible bottle capacities are 5 kg, 11 kg and 33 kg, giving it a useful range across French bottle sizes.

DVGW certification is another documented feature, while the stated product dimensions are 16 x 11 x 6 cm and the weight is 160 g. It is hand-operated, with a pressure regulator listed as the included component. A two-year manufacturer warranty is also stated.

Best use cases

Choose this model when the job calls for a constant propane regulator intended for French bottle threads and a hose with a G 3/8-inch L connection. For example, when replacing a regulator in an existing setup, those connection details provide a clear way to check whether this is the fitting type you need. Its stated compatibility with 5 kg, 11 kg and 33 kg bottles also helps narrow the choice by bottle capacity.

Compared with buying a general-purpose regulator without first matching the fittings, this model makes the intended bottle-thread and hose-connection combination explicit. That is useful for people assembling or maintaining a propane supply where those French bottle threads are required. The 4 bar rating gives a further concrete specification to compare against the requirements of the appliance and setup being used.

Who it’s for

It suits you if your propane bottle uses French screw threads and your hose connection is G 3/8-inch L. It is also relevant when replacing a regulator and you want to match the connection type and the stated 4 bar rating, rather than selecting solely by appearance or bottle capacity.

The specified bottle sizes cover 5 kg, 11 kg and 33 kg options, so the regulator can be considered for setups using any of those capacities. Before fitting, match the bottle thread and hose connection, and use the appliance and hose requirements to confirm that the regulator’s 4 bar rating is appropriate for your setup.

Should you buy it?

The Rothenberger 030925F is a focused choice for French-thread propane bottles, with a G 3/8-inch L hose connection and a 4 bar rating. Its stated suitability for 5 kg, 11 kg and 33 kg bottles helps identify the right application, while DVGW certification and the two-year manufacturer warranty add practical reassurance. For a setup that matches those fittings and specifications, it offers a clearly defined regulator option for connecting a propane bottle to a compatible hose.
