blumfeldt SAN2-Thal-2-180*41-a Hot Water Radiator, 1435W, Charcoal

Best use cases

For a bathroom that needs a dedicated source of indoor warmth, the blumfeldt SAN2-Thal-2-180*41-a is a tall hot water radiator designed for convection heating. Its 1435 W heat output and vertical tube form make it a practical choice when you want a fixed radiator rather than a portable fan heater.

It also suits bedrooms, living rooms and office spaces, where the product description highlights heating over a sustained period. Hot water provides the heat source, while convection helps distribute warmth through the room. The charcoal finish gives the radiator a defined look that can sit comfortably alongside contemporary interiors.

At 180 cm high and 41 cm wide, its tall, narrow shape is useful when choosing a radiator around the available wall or floor space. For a bathroom routine, it can provide room heating as you get ready, without relying on a fan heater as the main approach.

Strengths

The 1435 W heat output is a clear point of reference when comparing hot water radiators for indoor rooms. Rather than choosing a compact portable heater for quick, occasional use, this model is intended for room heating over a longer period. That makes its hot water operation relevant for spaces where you want warmth to be part of the room’s regular heating setup.

Its vertical tube design gives the radiator a tall profile, while the charcoal colour offers an alternative to a plain white finish. The product description also identifies a double-layer tubular design and flat heating ribs, which are easy to wipe down as part of routine cleaning.

A further practical feature is the option of a middle or side connection. This gives the radiator more than one connection position to work with when planning its place in a room. Its stated dimensions are 8D x 41W x 180H centimetres, and it weighs 32 kilograms, useful details to consider when selecting a location.

Key takeaways

This is an indoor, hot water-powered radiator with convection heating, a 1435 W heat output and a charcoal finish. Its intended room includes the bathroom, with bedroom, living room and office use also named in the product description. The tall format can suit a space where a vertical radiator is preferred over a wider, lower design.

For a considered comparison, distinguish it from portable electric heaters: this model uses hot water and is described for sustained room heating, while its middle or side connection options can help inform radiator placement. The double-layer tubes and wipe-clean flat ribs add useful design details for everyday use.
