At 22.7 × 12.5 × 17.0 cm for the main unit, the MAITE MT-CD108HEU-SS EU brings CD playback and stereo sound to a compact home system. Its black finish and LED display suit a bookshelf or TV cabinet.

Two 15W speakers provide 30W RMS output in total, with a 1.5-inch tweeter and 4-inch woofer in each speaker. A remote control is included for convenient operation from across the room.

Choose between CDs, USB playback, a wired AUX connection and Bluetooth 5.3 reception. That mix makes it easy to use with both a disc collection and everyday devices such as a smartphone or laptop.

Quick overview

This is a compact stereo system for listening at home, combining a CD player with two separate speakers. It supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW and CD-G discs, as well as CD and USB playback of audio formats including MP3 and WMA. USB playback also supports APE and FLAC files.

Bluetooth reception lets you pair a compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop and play audio wirelessly. The stated range is up to 10 metres in open areas, walls and furniture can affect the connection. For a wired source, connect a portable media player through the AUX input. Unlike a Bluetooth-only speaker, this system also gives you a built-in CD player and USB playback, so you can choose the source to suit what you want to hear.

Size & fit

The main unit measures 22.7 × 12.5 × 17.0 cm, while each speaker measures 13.9 × 12.7 × 19.9 cm. The separate speakers give the system a stereo layout, and the compact main unit can sit on a shelf or TV cabinet. Allow space for the speakers beside it and for access to the disc and connections.

Best use cases

Use the CD player for albums and discs at home, or connect a USB drive to play supported audio files. Bluetooth is handy when you want to stream audio from a mobile phone or tablet without connecting a cable, AUX provides a direct wired option for a compatible player. What suits your listening better: a disc on the shelf, a saved playlist on USB or a stream from your phone? The choice is built into one system.

The two-speaker stereo setup and 30W RMS total output make it a practical fit for everyday listening in a living room, bedroom or home office. A remote control adds convenience when the system is placed across the room. The unit is designed for speaker listening and does not support headphones.
