WOLFANG WDV04 Portable CD Player with Bluetooth, FM Radio and 4000mAh Battery

For music in the kitchen or a bedside room without keeping the player plugged in, the WOLFANG WDV04 offers CD playback alongside a rechargeable battery and built-in speakers.

It also supports Bluetooth, USB playback and FM radio, so it is not limited to discs. A remote control, headphone jack and choice of desktop stand or wall mounting add flexibility around the home.

The choice is between a straightforward player for CDs alone and a more adaptable unit for different listening sources. The WDV04 takes the latter approach, while keeping its main role as a portable CD player.

Key points

The WDV04 plays Audio CDs and has two channels. Its built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery allows use away from a permanent power connection, although no battery runtime is stated. That makes it useful for moving between rooms or taking along for a trip, but it does not tell you how long a charge will last in a particular setting.

Bluetooth, USB playback and FM radio give you alternatives when you do not want to listen to a CD. MP3 and WMA are the supported audio formats listed, and the 3.5mm jack provides a wired headphone connection. Built-in speakers suit casual listening without separate speakers, for private listening, use headphones instead.

How it fits

It can sit on a desk, bedside table or kitchen counter, or be wall-mounted where a surface is limited. For example, it could play a CD while you work in the kitchen, then be moved to a bedroom for radio or headphone listening. The removable dust cover helps protect the disc area when it is not in use.

It’s a good fit if you want one unit for CDs, radio and USB playback rather than a basic CD-only player. The stand and wall-mount option also give you more ways to place it than a player intended only to sit flat on a shelf. Better avoided if your choice depends on a stated battery runtime: that detail is not provided here.

Practical tips

Choose the desktop stand for a surface-based setup, or use the wall-mount option if you want to free up counter or bedside space. The remote control lets you operate the player without reaching the unit, while the headphone jack is useful when you want to listen without using the built-in speakers.

If you plan to use USB playback, bear in mind that MP3 and WMA are the audio formats specified. The product information does not give further detail on USB file limits or battery life, so avoid assuming more than the listed features.

Practical questions

Can it play CDs as well as other audio? Yes. It is listed for Audio CDs, with USB playback, Bluetooth connectivity and FM radio as additional listening options.

Can I listen without using the built-in speakers? Yes. Connect headphones through the 3.5mm jack for private listening.

Can it be placed on a table or mounted on a wall? Both options are listed: it includes a desktop stand and supports wall mounting.

When it makes sense

Choose the WOLFANG WDV04 if you want a portable CD player that can also handle radio, USB playback and Bluetooth, with a rechargeable battery for use away from a fixed connection. Its built-in speakers are suited to everyday, casual listening, while the headphone jack offers a more personal option. If your priority is only playing CDs, a simpler player may cover that need, the WDV04 makes more sense when having several listening sources and flexible placement matters.
