FirFurd P470 Tall Kitchen Cupboard, 4 Doors, 2 Drawers, Black

Key takeaways

Five shelf levels, four doors and two drawers give the FirFurd P470 a practical mix of concealed and easy-access storage. Use the drawers for everyday items such as cutlery or coffee cups, while the cupboards keep larger kitchenware and supplies organised and out of sight. An adjustable shelf in the lower compartment lets you tailor the space to the items you store.

At 80 x 40 x 180.5 cm, this freestanding cupboard makes use of vertical space in the kitchen or dining area. Its black finish, raised-panel doors, flowing grooves and silver-coloured handles bring a contemporary-classic look to the room.

Best use cases

Choose this cabinet when you want one tall piece of furniture to handle different kinds of household storage. In a kitchen, the enclosed compartments can organise pots, bowls, plates and pantry items, while the drawers keep smaller essentials close at hand. The adjustable shelf is useful when the contents vary in height, from shorter jars to taller cookware or appliances.

In a dining room, the cupboard can serve as a sideboard for tableware and serving pieces, with the top available for display. Its intended uses also include living room display, bathroom storage and utility storage, making it a versatile choice when a room needs a combination of drawers and cupboards. Compared with open shelving, its doors offer a more discreet way to store everyday belongings, the drawers provide quicker access to frequently used items.

Tips for day-to-day use

Plan the shelf arrangement around what you reach for most often. Keep frequently used items in the drawers or at a comfortable shelf level, and use the adjustable lower shelf to accommodate taller pieces. Handles make the doors and drawers straightforward to open, magnetic catches help keep the doors closed, and metal drawer runners support smooth operation.

The cupboard has a wood frame and top, a raised base and a freestanding installation. Each shelf supports up to 20kg, and each drawer supports up to 22lbs. Its surface is described as waterproof and easy to clean, which helps with routine care in a busy home. Assembly is required, follow the step-by-step instructions and fit the two included anti-tip devices as directed. The cabinet is delivered in two packages, so wait until both have arrived before beginning assembly.

Final verdict

The FirFurd P470 is well suited to homes that need substantial, varied storage without relying on a run of separate furniture. Its combination of adjustable shelving, closed cupboards and two handy drawers makes it useful for kitchens and dining rooms, while the tall black design can also bring organised storage to other living spaces. Choose it for a single freestanding unit that keeps both larger items and everyday essentials in order.
