Lifewit 24408 Suction-Cup Soap Dish, White Plastic with Drainage Tray

At 13 x 8.5 cm, this white plastic soap dish gives a bar of soap a dedicated place beside the shower or sink. Its suction-cup fitting attaches to smooth, non-porous surfaces without drilling. A two-layer design separates the draining rack from the drip tray below. Choose it when you want a removable wall-mounted holder, a drilled fixture may suit a more permanent installation.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a secure fitting, clean and dry the surface first, then press the suction cup firmly to expel air and turn the cap clockwise. Leave it for twelve hours before putting the dish to use. Glazed tiles, glass, mirrors, polished metal, stainless steel and acrylic are suitable smooth surfaces for the mount.

The upper rack lets water drain away from the soap, while the lower tray catches drips. This helps keep the bar separate from pooled water between uses, whether the dish is beside a shower or positioned near a kitchen sink for a sponge. When it needs a clean, wipe the plastic with a damp cloth. The holder can also be removed and reattached, making it practical if you want to change its position without drilling into the wall.

What stands out

The useful difference is the combination of tool-free mounting and separate drainage: rather than leaving soap on a flat surface, the upper rack lets water run into the tray beneath. That arrangement helps keep the soap area tidier and makes the holder suitable for everyday shower use. Its white rectangular shape keeps the design simple, while the removable suction fitting offers an alternative to fixed, screw-mounted storage.

The product is specified to hold up to 5kg. Customers praise its overall quality, while some report that the suction does not stay attached as expected. Following the surface preparation and installation steps is important for the intended fit. The suction cup is described as reusable, so the holder can be repositioned on an appropriate surface.

It suits you if your chosen spot has a clean, smooth surface and you value the option to remove or reposition the dish.
