Learning Resources Numberblocks Friends Six to Ten Collectible Figures with Posable Arms
Product description
A set built around familiar characters suits children who enjoy replaying scenes from a programme, while a more structured counting activity may suit a different kind of play. These figures bring Numberblocks Six to Ten into hands-on imaginative play at home.
The set is aimed at children aged 3 and up and has numeracy as its educational objective. Its appeal is the combination of recognisable characters and moveable arms, rather than a supplied game or set of activities.
The five figures are made from plastic and are multicoloured. Their different heights give the group a varied look and may help children distinguish the characters during play.

Everyday use
The figures can be used for open-ended pretend play, such as arranging the five friends together or acting out a Numberblocks-inspired story. As children handle the characters, their familiar number identities offer a natural prompt for talking about numbers. That can support a playful numeracy theme, though the set does not include instructions or a dedicated counting activity.
The arms move, giving children a simple way to pose the figures as a scene changes. Their size is described as suitable for little hands, and the five different characters make this a more character-led choice than a basic set of counting pieces. It makes sense if a child already enjoys Numberblocks or likes imaginative play with recognisable figures.
Buyers’ comments are generally positive about engagement and perceived educational value, with some saying children enjoy playing with the figures and one noting a use in speech therapy. Durability feedback is mixed: some describe the figures as sturdy, while others raise concerns about breakage. This is worth bearing in mind if the toy is likely to see particularly rough handling, it may not suit you if durability under that kind of play is the main priority.

Before you decide
What ages is the set intended for? It is listed for children aged 3 and up.
Which Numberblocks are included? The five characters are Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten.
Do the figures have moving parts? Their arms are posable, so children can change their positions during play.
Should you buy it?
Choose this set for a child who is drawn to the Numberblocks characters and is likely to enjoy storytelling alongside casual number talk. It gives you five familiar figures in one set, rather than a more activity-focused learning toy with supplied tasks. The stated numeracy objective is relevant, but the product details describe figures for play, not a structured teaching resource. If you want character-based play and recognise that buyer feedback on durability is not unanimous, the set has a clear purpose, if you need a specific counting programme or prioritise confidence around rough handling, another type of toy may be a better fit.
