Lamicall GP05-B Gooseneck Phone Holder with Nylon Braid, 38-inch Arm and 80 mm Clamp

Choosing a phone holder often comes down to where you want to use your phone and how precisely you need to position it. The Lamicall GP05-B combines a long flexible arm with a clamp for bedside and tabletop setups. Its woven nylon outer layer gives the arm a softer feel, while a ball joint makes small angle changes easier. Want hands-free viewing without keeping your phone in your hand? This design lets you position it within reach.

Who it’s for

This holder suits anyone who watches videos, follows a recipe or makes a video call while relaxing in bed or on the sofa. It can also be clamped to a desk, bedside table, headboard, bed frame, chair or kitchen table, so one stand can serve different spots around the home. The clamp opens to a maximum of 10 cm, and its rubber pads help protect the surface and provide grip.

The phone clamp is designed for 4–7-inch phones, including a wide selection of iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, LG and OnePlus models. That makes it a practical choice for households with different supported phone models. It suits you if you want a holder that attaches to furniture rather than a stand that sits on a flat surface.

Technical overview

• Type: Gooseneck mobile phone holder with tabletop clamp
• Arm: 38-inch flexible arm with an aluminium alloy core and woven nylon outer layer
• Clamp base: 80 mm wide, opens to a maximum of 10 cm
• Adjustment: 360-degree ball joint for positioning the phone in different directions
• Compatibility: 4–7-inch phones
• Colour: Black
• Model: GP05-B

The long arm brings the screen closer for comfortable viewing, while the ball joint lets you fine-tune its angle without repeatedly repositioning the whole arm. For added steadiness, the manufacturer recommends shaping the arm into an S or Z. This is useful when setting the phone above a bed or sofa, where a straightforward viewing angle can make hands-free use more comfortable.

Where it shines

The GP05-B is designed for flexible positioning at home. Clamp it to a bedside surface for watching a programme, to a desk for a video call, or to a kitchen table to keep a recipe visible while you work. Its broad 80 mm clamp base is intended to fit a range of mounting positions, while the padded contact points help avoid scratches or slipping on the clamped surface.

Compared with a compact stand that needs a clear patch of tabletop, this arm can hold a phone over the area where you are sitting or lying. The aluminium core supports the flexible arm, and the nylon weave adds a more comfortable surface to handle as you adjust it. Customer feedback on stability and ease of movement is mixed: some users find it sturdy and useful, while others report wobble or difficulty adjusting it. Some also raise concerns about durability, so feedback is not uniform across these points.

Buying verdict

Choose the Lamicall GP05-B if you want a clamp-mounted phone holder for hands-free viewing from a bed, sofa, desk or kitchen table. Its 38-inch arm, 360-degree joint and support for 4–7-inch phones make it especially useful when you want to bring the screen into position without holding it. The padded 80 mm clamp base adds flexibility in where you set it up, making this a considered fit for everyday home viewing and calls.
