KYUQY sdrf34f Smart Fairy Lights, 10 m RGB, Music Sync and USB Powered
Product description
If you want decorative lighting that can change with the occasion, rather than a fixed colour display, these KYUQY smart fairy lights offer app-controlled RGB effects along a 10 m copper wire. Use them to add colour to a bedroom, party space or seasonal display.
Would you like the lights to follow the music, or keep to a calmer glow? Choose from preset effects, adjust brightness and colours, or create your own patterns with the app. A remote control and USB controls provide additional ways to operate the lights.
The flexible wire can be shaped around a Christmas tree, curtain, staircase or gift display. Music synchronisation uses a built-in microphone, while a timer lets you schedule the lights to switch on and off.
Best use cases
For birthday, Halloween and Christmas decorating, the RGB effects make it easy to shift the look of a room without changing the string of lights. Preset modes include rainbow, alternating colours, breathing and flashing effects, so you can choose a setting to suit a celebration or a quieter evening. The app also supports custom colour patterns, including individual colour settings along the string.
At home, shape the copper wire around a bedroom feature, a curtain or a tree. For a party, use the music-sync setting to have the lights respond to ambient sound. The timer is useful when you want lighting to follow a regular schedule, and adjustable brightness helps tailor the display to the space. Compared with choosing fixed-colour decorative lights, this string gives you a choice of colours and effects from one setup.

What stands out
The combination of app, remote and USB controls gives you practical flexibility: use the app to select colours and design effects, or use the remote for direct adjustments. The built-in microphone responds to surrounding sound for music-synchronised lighting, and the app can also use its camera function to change the colours. With the RGBIC effect, different colours can appear along the string at the same time, giving a display more variety than a single-colour setting.
The copper wire is easy to bend into decorative shapes, making it suitable for outlining objects or arranging along a linear display. The string has an IP65 rating for water resistance, while its USB connection needs to be kept dry. It can be powered from a USB port, such as one on a laptop or power bank, making USB access the practical consideration when choosing where to place it.
Practical questions
How can I control the lights? Use the USB control, the 24-key infrared remote or the Hello Fairy app. For app control, enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and connect to the lights through the app.
Can the lights follow music? Yes. A built-in microphone detects ambient sound and synchronises the light effects with the rhythm. The app also offers colour and mode settings, including custom patterns.
Can they be used outdoors? The light string is rated IP65 and described as suitable for use in rain. Keep the USB connection dry, as it is not waterproof.
Final verdict
Choose these KYUQY lights when you want flexible, programmable colour for celebrations or everyday decorative displays. Their 10 m bendable copper wire, multiple control methods, music synchronisation and timer make it straightforward to shape a display and tailor its lighting to the occasion.
