Klarstein CP4-90400-kdcc Induction Hob, 4 Zones, Touch Control

Some kitchens need separate zones for everyday pans, others need room to adapt for a larger vessel. The Klarstein CP4-90400-kdcc offers both with four induction zones and a VarioHeating function that combines the two left zones. Touch controls and a digital display make it straightforward to manage cooking settings.

Size & fit

This is a built-in hob designed for installation in a fitted kitchen, rather than for free-standing use. The glass ceramic surface gives the cooking area a clean, integrated finish, with the zone markings visible on the top. Mounting material is included, and the hob uses a 5-pin connection cable, so those details are useful to factor into kitchen installation planning.

With four separate zones, you can arrange several pans for a meal without giving up the option of a larger cooking area. For example, use the zones individually for saucepans and frying pans, then combine the two zones on the left when cooking with a larger vessel. Automatic cookware detection supports use of the flexible area.

Why it’s worth it

The main advantage is the choice between separate cooking zones and a combined flex zone. That makes the hob useful for varied everyday cooking, from preparing several components at once to accommodating a wider pan. ThermoBoost provides rapid heating, while nine power levels let you tailor the setting to the task.

SenseControl brings touch operation and a digital display together on the hob surface, so you can adjust settings while keeping the controls within easy reach. The ECO thermal function displays residual heat, and ThermoRecall remembers the cooking setting during a pause. These features help make the hob easier to manage through changing stages of a meal.

Practical safety functions include a cooking timer, child lock, overheating protection, automatic switch-off and pot detection. The hob also has a function that automatically reduces cooking-zone power to help avoid overload. The glass ceramic top is designed for straightforward cleaning after cooking.

If your priority is a simple layout of fixed cooking zones, four separate areas cover that approach. If you value the option to adapt the cooking surface for larger cookware as well, the combined left-hand zones add useful flexibility without changing the built-in format.
