Fretta Boost F6000 Cold Press Juicer, 1.8-litre Hopper, 250W

For anyone who wants to juice whole fruit and vegetables with less chopping, the Fretta Boost F6000 combines a wide feed chute with a self-feeding hopper. Its cold press action handles ingredients from apples and carrots to kale, celery and ginger, making it useful for everyday juice as well as varied recipes at home.

The 1.8-litre hopper lets you load ingredients for a larger batch, while the 250W motor runs at a slow 80 RPM to press produce. A stainless steel body and BPA-free PCTG components complete a practical setup for regular kitchen use.

How to use it

Assemble the juicer and load prepared or suitable whole produce into the hopper, then switch it on using the control knob. The wide chute accommodates larger fruit and vegetables such as apples and carrots, helping reduce the need to chop them first. For leafy ingredients such as kale or celery, the small opening in the flip cover lets you feed them in while the juicer is running.

Use the F6000 for juice blends with fruit, leafy greens and firmer ingredients such as beetroot or ginger. It also works with frozen fruit to make sorbet-style desserts. This gives you a choice between a dedicated juicer and a machine that can also support simple frozen-fruit treats.

Benefits

Cold pressing at 80 RPM is designed to extract juice gently, with the aim of limiting heat and oxidation during juicing. The slow action suits both leafy greens and harder produce, so you can vary ingredients rather than keeping to soft fruit alone. Buyers particularly praise the juice quality, feedback on overall performance is mixed, so individual experiences differ.

The self-feeding 1.8-litre hopper is useful when making several portions or preparing juice for a household. Instead of feeding every piece individually, you can load produce into the hopper and let it move through the juicer. A single-speed setting keeps operation straightforward, while the 250W motor powers the pressing process.

Worth noting

The safety sensor prevents the juicer from starting until its components are correctly installed, helping make assembly part of the normal operating routine. Three quick-release parts make it easier to take the juicer apart after use. The components are designed for hand washing, so rinse and clean them by hand rather than placing them in a dishwasher, a cleaning brush is included to help with the process.

Its listed dimensions are 16D x 16W x 43H centimetres, giving you a clear reference when choosing a place for it on the worktop or in a cupboard. The 1.8-litre capacity also helps you judge whether the hopper suits your usual batch size.

Should you buy it?

The Fretta Boost F6000 is a practical fit for home cooks who want to make juice from a mix of whole fruit, vegetables and leafy greens, with less ingredient preparation. Its wide chute, self-feeding hopper and slow cold press action support everyday juicing, while the frozen-fruit function adds another use for the machine. Choose it for a home routine that values batch preparation and a broader range of ingredients, with hand washing as part of the clean-up.
