Best use cases

The 90° upright position suits focused desk work, while the tilt range to 135° gives you room to recline for gaming, reading or entertainment. When taking a break between tasks, the adjustable footrest lets you put your feet up without moving to another seat. This makes the chair a practical choice for a setup that needs to serve both work and downtime.

The wide seat has no confining side bolsters, so you can change position more freely. Pocket-spring support adds resilience to the seat, while the oversized, height-adjustable lumbar cushion can be positioned to give your lower back a more personalised point of support. The backrest combines high-density foam with high-loft fibre for a cushioned, enveloping feel. Soft armrests and a 360-degree swivel help make it easier to turn and move around your desk.

Compared with a basic office chair focused mainly on upright desk use, the GT205-IE adds a footrest and a broad reclining range for mixed work and leisure. Its height adjustment also helps you set the chair to suit your desk and seating position. Assembly is required, the chair comes with hardware and detailed instructions, with assembly described as taking about 15 minutes.
