Product description
For viewers looking for an English-language drama with a tense cat-and-mouse story, We Hunt Together brings a dark partnership and a determined detective team into one five-hour DVD presentation. Its two-disc format gives the story room to unfold across an extended at-home viewing session.
The plot follows Freddy and Baba, whose connection takes a violent turn as they pursue revenge. Meanwhile, detectives DI Mendy and DS Franks must work through their opposing views to catch them.
Why it’s worth it
The appeal is the clash between two people drawn together by violence and the investigators trying to stop them. Freddy is a troubled young woman, Baba, a former child soldier, intervenes when she is nearly assaulted outside a nightclub. Their immediate connection soon becomes something darker, setting the story in motion. What happens when the people doing the hunting are being hunted too? That tension gives the drama two sides to follow: the pair’s escalating actions and the detectives’ effort to close in.
At five hours, this is suited to viewers who want a longer dramatic watch rather than a short, standalone film. The story’s pursuit-and-investigation premise also makes it a natural pick for an evening when you want to stay with the same characters and conflict over time. The DVD-Video, NTSC format offers a physical-disc way to watch at home, use a DVD player that supports NTSC discs.
